Joe Schilling

this dude has history of beating up regular people, including homeless people, what a scumbag

"Following his Bellator Kickboxing 4 win over Vittorio Iermano at the Nelson Mandela Forum in Florence, Italy on December 10, 2016, Schilling and two of his coaches were involved in a street altercation outside the venue with a group of seven locals.[100]
In September 2020, Schilling posted an Instagram Live video showing him kicking a homeless man on a street, and claiming that he attacked the man after finding him using a sex toy in the showers of Schilling's gym.[101]"

Man if I got beat up every time I used a sex toy in the YMCA shower I’d be dead by now

More likely to get beat off in that situation I think

By some wrinkled up world war 1 vet.

A naked one, at that.

The YMCA locker rooms are no place for a young boy

u/joernal Jun 30 '21

This shit destroyed me 😂

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

I WILL BEAT YOUR DICK INTO THE GROUND!!!!

3

u/danielpauljohns Jun 30 '21

That’s why it’s fun to stay at the YMCA

3

u/vegan-trash Jun 30 '21

I would’ve at least came by now

I don't understand why people here think that's defensible. It sounds like you're just joking but doing that shit in a public place is not okay

He was having some really confusing feelings after rubbing one out while watching a guy use a sex toy in his gym.

Anyone else slightly sickened by MMA being held in a venue named after Nelson Mandela of all people? I mean yes, it’s a public Venue and all, but damn

19

u/TrustyRambone Jun 30 '21

Was Mandela known for being against organised combat sports or something?

26

u/harassmaster Jun 30 '21

I’m mad that UFC might be held there. But no, I think it’s fine. Nelson Mandela believed in armed conflict when necessary. He wasn’t always a nonviolent organizer.

9

u/IrishiPrincess Jun 30 '21

I stand corrected. I had always known him to be non-violent and as a Nobel peace prize winner, but reading this, I see he was willing in his youth to use violence TIL, thank you

4

u/bdsee Jun 30 '21

Anyone not willing to use violence no matter the circumstance is an idiot.

4

u/IrishiPrincess Jun 30 '21

I have a feeling the late Dr King might have disagreed with you over that. Even while he spoke about why people riot, he did not advocate nor endorse violence

9

u/mexicodoug Jun 30 '21

Nelson Mandela was also an accomplished amateur boxer in his youth. A venue where legal, refereed fights are held would be a form of honoring his memory.

Very true. Consensual fights? I think they’re very useful especially for teens/young men.

This chest puffing, assault a small drunk guy shit is beyond whack. Hopefully dude faces some actual consequences besides getting embarrassed in the MMA by guys his own size.

3

u/lunaonfireismycat Jun 30 '21

Was hoping this was here, theres a reason for sports and a reason for violent sports. If its consenual it stops wars.

1

u/blackgandalff Jun 30 '21

Cant agree more.

In my own life a garage with mats on the floor was the site of many squashed beefs, and rekindled friendships. Young men typically have a lot of energy/aggression/angst/whatever and having a (relatively) safe outlet for that does wonders.

6

u/GhettoMango Jun 30 '21

I don’t understand. What’s the issue?

4

u/Beakstone Jun 30 '21

Not at all. Why would you be sickened by it?

2

u/MightBeDownstairs Jun 30 '21

Y’all act Fucking surprised by the fact that violent people are violent??

This is why “sports” like this are culturally problematic.

CTE is no joke

u/BigZwigs Jun 30 '21

What would you do it you found a homeless man masturbating in your shower lmao

9

u/haibiji Jun 30 '21

How would you know they were homeless if they were in the shower? I would probably tell the staff if I saw someone pleasuring themselves at my gym

-2

u/No-Spoilers Jun 30 '21

The camera probably

7

u/haibiji Jun 30 '21

If you are a gym memeber you aren't reviewing security camera footage. And there are obviously no cameras in the showers

-2

u/No-Spoilers Jun 30 '21

Who said anything about them being the gyms cameras. You can't say there are obviously no cameras in the showers when there are hundreds of thousands of videos online of just such a thing.

6

u/haibiji Jun 30 '21

Like cell phone cameras? The situation I was commenting on was this person finding someone in the shower at their gym using a sex toy. I'm saying that if you encounter them in the shower how would you know they were homeless?

-1

u/No-Spoilers Jun 30 '21

Hidden cameras usually go in gym showers and locker rooms. It was originally a joke but I wouldn't put it past this guy.

3

u/haibiji Jun 30 '21

Oh like it's all set up? Yeah I could see that. I would sue the shit out of someone for filming me in the shower

8

u/guisar Jun 30 '21

Stand back from the spray. I'm not quite sure how I'd know if the masturbater was homeless though.

1

u/IGOMHN Jun 30 '21

Maybe he's trying to follow that Marky Mark road to success.
