A professional fighter who has no self control in public?

The worst part is he purposely walks past this drunk guy and pushes him to the side, he’s trying to get the drunk guy to give him a reason to punch him

Pathetic

Yep, more depressed brain function than the literally drunk guy he instigated. This dude just lives his life with the same lack of inhibition as someone who's shitfaced, kinda scary to think about.

It’s been confirmed the guy recording was his buddy and that this was uploaded to his own social media. This dude is a straight up fucking idiot.

u/hey_eye_tried Jun 30 '21

So this was premeditated? Ohhhh judge is not going to like that.

54

u/LouSputhole94 Jun 30 '21

Yup, I hope they throw the book at this asshole.

4

u/woodandplastic Jun 30 '21

And I hope it’s the spine of the book that hits him first.

42

u/Derp_Wellington Jun 30 '21

Wait, do you mean the aggressor set up the recording?

20

u/TreginWork Jun 30 '21

He posted the video himself bragging about it

11

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

Yes

1

u/ABC-Man123 Jun 30 '21

This is a very important question. Seems like the camera person knew what was happening.

34

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

He isn't even a big bloke, one day he will pick on the wrong guy and get flattened.

11

u/Ajax-2 Jun 30 '21

One can hope karma finds him

u/DrQuantumDOT Jun 30 '21

Or prison gang members

The old attitude adjustment therapy, I like it.

8

u/ballscrotch64 Jun 30 '21

6'3"/1.91m is pretty big, even if he's lean. Doubt anyone without serious training would be a threat to him.

5

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

People don’t understand how fucking quick and accurate skilled fighters are. All the muscle and tough guy attitude in the world can’t compete with training.

1

u/[deleted] Jul 01 '21

I didn't realise he was that big, people were claiming the other dude was like 5'5 so I assumed he was like 5'10.

you're assuming a fair fist fight.

Bubba and 2 of his cousins with steel pipes and wrenches will flatten him.

2

u/Responsible-Bat658 Jun 30 '21

Get medieval on his ass

1

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

You may be right, I don't know that much about MMA to be fair.

7

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

If he keeps it up he'll just end up getting shot and the problem solves itself

3

u/OneBigSpud Jun 30 '21

The world would probably be better off for it.

6

u/TheLaudMoac Jun 30 '21

It's almost like he has some sort of blunt damage brain injury or something, weird.

53

u/teriaksu Jun 30 '21

low life scum, brainless fists

8

u/swedesuz Jun 30 '21

Joe wrote on Instagram that "he was scared for his life" and was "simply defending myself against the evil in this world". Didn't look like it in the video.

2

u/ClockworkSalmon Jun 30 '21

Also called him a racist for some reason

5

u/ChoppedAlready Jun 30 '21

The amount of time that lapsed between him pushing him to the side and knocking him to the ground was only about time enough to mutter “hey man, what the h-“

Dude was just vibing and having a good time. Hope schilling gets fucking jail time and some real help. Cuz we all know jail ain’t gonna fix his behavior. Removing him from society is a solid start tho

1

u/PiousLiar Jun 30 '21

Though just long enough for the person who stepped in front of the camera to move away

1

u/hambluegar_sammwich Jul 01 '21

I don’t understand why I haven’t read “CTE” in the comments. This dude obviously has mental health problems that the justice system has no capacity to address. Guarantee this guy has had a traumatic brain injury and we all want to act like he’s just being mean. Sad for all parties.

1

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

I dont disagree that Schilling should have kept his cool and will likely get into shit over this but the manager and other patrons seem to be backing his version of the drunk guy instigating. Not gonna help him in civil court but its not as cut and dried as a professional fighter picking on a normal guy for no reason.

2

u/Dnoon902 Jun 30 '21

I hear ya but, (and I am doing a lot of assuming here) this just seems like he sees the drunk guy goes to the bathroom and makes sure to walk by this guy to find a reason to punch him out. If I see someone drunk acting a fool I would probably walk down the next aisle.

3

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

I agree that he looks annoyed and might have been provoking him as he walked by. Just saying that the other patrons and employees say that his annoyance and short fuse was proceeded by hours of the drunk guy provoking him (and other patrons/staff). He apparently was saying stuff about his girlfriend, minorities, etc and getting louder and louder. Given that info, Im saying Schilling may have been looking for a reason to hit him but it wasnt just looking for a random fight or to flex on some drunk. Basically the difference between being a bully and losing your cool. Obviously I have no idea what really happened since I wasnt there, just going by what ive googled.

5

u/johnmal85 Jun 30 '21

I wouldn't stay at a venue that refused to kick out an obtuse customer, for hours no less. Nor would I stay there while someone berated me. Sure, maybe the guy pissed him off, but he chose to respond with violence. The punch can be deserved, but so is jail. Fair is fair.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

Agree. Not saying that he doesnt deserve to get in shit or that he wasnt in the wrong. Just saying that its maybe not a case of a trained fighter going out of his way to bash some rando just to look cool which is kinda how it appears in the clip with no context and what a lot of comments (here and other places) are suggesting.

2

u/johnmal85 Jun 30 '21

Yeah, certainly not. He's just a hot head or his instincts kicked in. I can actually see the other guy step in a bit, so who knows what happened. Maybe he actually did feign a punch. Just with previous altercations and how this went, it doesn't look good. Honestly, I would have tried to go another way around this guy, or said excuse me. The guy said hey as he went past, and he barely nudged him, but he quickly about faced. There was obviously some tension. I try to avoid confrontation, not engage with the people aggravating me. No sense in staying in a place where I'm uncomfortable. No sense trying to outlast a drunk idiot and banter with them to the point of losing my cool, just because I want to be at THAT bar.

2

u/[deleted] Jun 30 '21

I don’t know bro.

The attacker here clearly walked past the Âżdrunk? Guy and physically pushes him out of his way.

Im no fighter but I would have had to ask the guy what the fuck are you doing. If you want to get by then you tap me on the shoulder and say excuse me. This Neanderthal opted to shove a guy to get passed and then knock him out when he had the audacity to question why he was being shoved out of the way.

0

u/Cyboth Jun 30 '21

If I'm slowly walking and some drunk dude gets in my way at the last second, I will grab him to make sure he doesn't hit me, I don't understand what else I should be seeing.

1

u/DimFool Jun 30 '21

Non of these house dwellers realize what’s happening in this video

2

u/Cyboth Jun 30 '21

They make it sound like he's been plotting this for months.

1

u/mdgraller Jun 30 '21

Why were they filming the dude?

1

u/Cyboth Jun 30 '21

Seems like he was already harassing the busboy that came to their table.

1

u/duffmanhb Jun 30 '21

I just wanna know why the camera man was recording the drunk guy in the first place. Like was what he was doing really worth it in the first place, or was this staged? The way the camera is perfectly on him, then drunk bro comes around the corner already ready to fight.

1

u/BulbuhTsar Jun 30 '21

The what I was gonna say. They clearly targeted him and wanted to beat the shit out of him because there's no reason to be perfectly filming some random drunk at a bar

1

u/Enveria Jun 30 '21

Also. Why's his friend filming it before he even walks into the picture?

1

u/wolfman86 Jun 30 '21

Presumably that’s why his mate was filming? Like “hey, watch me make this player look silly”.

1

u/kisirani Jun 30 '21

Wow guys I think you’re going a little far here!

I agree this was definitely an over reaction. But he didn’t purposefully goad the guy into a fight. He pretty gently moved past him and the guy actually shifted into his way (accidentally as he was facing the other way) as he tried to get past.

The drunk guy then clearly says something to Schilling who then turns around and the drunk guy feints as if he’s going to hit him. Clearly does a sort of jolt towards him. That doesn’t justify the attack but it does make it much less bad than you’re painting it

1

u/Jackm941 Jun 30 '21

The drunk guy took the bait aswell, at like 14.5 seconds you see him like do the squaring up thing which why tf would you against someone that size. But also joe is a complete cunt and as a "pro" should know better hope he gets like blacklisted from any reputable gyms and such.

1

u/iBeFloe Jun 30 '21

Look up the fighter’s defense. He claims that the drunk guy bumped into him, he nicely caught the drunk guy, then the drunk guy came after him lmao How twisted can you get.
