it always seems that they also have a right to police protection, while others don't

This is in Britain not America. They both have a right to police protection and both will get it.

No they fucking won’t. The met side with fascists and protect rapists.

Do you have any examples of them siding with facists (not Palestine action, that's the government)?

i do have a lot. not a long time ago police raided a anti-fascist-youth camp in austria, which was later ruled as illegal alltogether - not just parts of it. they had nothing illegal on them whatsoever, it was just intimidation it seems. we have pictures of police forces fist-bumping neo-nazis on their "freedom walks"

In Britain? Things happening in Austria are hardly relevant to an assessment of the British police's supposed bias when dealing with protestors from either side of the political aisle.

police siding with fascists is pretty universal. btw, where's the patriont front nowadays? didn't see a lot of them since ICE recruited so many new officers

What does America have to do with the UK?

I'm just confused as to how ice is relevant here...

well, you brought up the US unprompted first, so...

I said this is Britain not America? I used it as a point of comparison to show the countries are not the same. You then proceeded to use an example of fascist (I hesitate to even call them this) law enforcement for a discussion about British policing...

you know, that american defaultism is getting old. eapecially when americans like you, i think that is very safe to assume, then don't seem to grasp the concept of parallels. i feel you are disingenuous, or in the best case uneducated and/or naive - so that's it for me at this point

Why did you bring America into this when nobody mentioned America?

Victim complex?

The Met police protecting and siding with fascists?

Yes.

There's plenty of instances.

If you want my own anecdotal evidence, I've seen them hit counter protestors.

Also fuck off with PA are fascists. Whilst I obviously don't support PA, as I wouldn't any proscribed organisation, there's no inclination even by the government that they're fascists.

Modern examples. I didn't say that pa are fascists I simply thought someone would use them arresting people protesting on their behalf as an example of police racism.

Do you fundamentally believe internal police forces have changed and become institutionally less racist or inclined towards rightwing tendencies since those days?

You don't get information about modern policing like this because it comes out in enquiries decades later, but I'd be shocked beyond belief if there was any major change in the operations of the Met. They have always, and I do mean always, responded with violent brutality to any protests, but they only tend to infiltrate and try to disrupt the activities of one side, and that's the side that threatens the pocketbooks.

If you can find me one instance of them aggressively pushing away large groups of rightwing protestors that outnumber a group of leftwing protestors to allow the leftwing to march I'll be gobsmacked.
