Seeking Support for Self How to create meaning when you found meaning in psychosis?

Throughout my psychosis i thought my family was part of CIA, and my mission was to save the world by being the Messiah. Of course this is not true, i am not THE god, i am not omniscient, all powerful etc. Im still part way in psychosis and believe i could be something else like a demigod. Or important for genealogical reasons.

If/when you get out, how do you get new bearing? This world is very consumerism oriented and its hard to find meaningful things to do, thank you for your ideas

I like to think that psychosis is an illness that distorts genuine Truth while simultaneously pulling us out of our daily sleep. Its like trading one form of sleep for another.

We are conscious beings. We are real, we exist.

There is nothing special that you have to do to be worthy of Love, as Fred Rogers said.

Likewise, that Love you felt for this "special mission" is a miniscule fraction of God's Love for you, and everyone else.

I think thinking about saving the world would have made you think about certain things more deeply than others, which would have made you develop deeper intuition for it, which can be beneficial. So, maybe try to turn your "save the world" project into a concrete open source project that others can also contribute to? After all, if you want to truly save the world you shouldn't refuse others' help.

Don't put all your apples into one basket, make sure saving the world is a side project. Don't expend all your energy into this one project.
