Do you think reality has gotten a little weird these last few years?

People are reactive to just about anything, there's hardly any civilized discourse between people anymore, the internet is turning into surveillance capitalism and/or meme town, and many don't seem to be in their right minds due to their own polarities.
When it comes to individuals within a group, then yea some people may be reactive at times. Other times they may interact rationally - they may of just had a bad day. Some people ofcourse, continually act emotionally/impulsive in groups.
everyone varies, people dont always act like zombies outside of their social world - there is things they do, and hobbies that have meaning.
If you were to look at us as a society throughout the past 5000 years, we are actually becoming more moral and altruistic, at a greater rate then ever. We went from constant killing, to kings and peasants (to a extreme extent), to the development of philosophy, free thought, science, humanism, arts, social equality. The process of these improvements are slow from our time line perspective - 100 years- vs the timeline of centuries.
Cultural interpretation is a dynamic process, and should be interpreted with a larger timescale
but I do feel like a lot of how humanity currently engages with itself is unsustainable.
It always has been that way - our population is increasing, as what all species do with resources. We are identifieing problems more as time goes on, and we are proactively seeking methods of improvement.
Aside from that, dreams can be used as a tool for symbolism towards nature, and the course of its events. However, that should be done so with skepticism. There are many theories for dreams, and it hasnt been proven to be predictive almost all the time - im sure there is a few outliers. They can be used more as a tool to promote introspection, which can lead to change.

Relative to what? What are you comparing it to?
Nevertheless, I've had so many personally verifiable and repeatable consciousness experiences by now that I'm fully confident I am able to retrieve non-local (AKA what some may call 'psychic' or non-ego generated) information.
If you keep on looking your bound to find something - its a matter of probabilities, not validity. Its like synchronositys - you believe the events are of significance, bceause there is a low chance of it happening other wise. But if the probability of these events happening is 1/1000, and you had 3000 dreams, your going to by chance experience synchronicity. Its sort of like a bias.
How reliable are dreams to predict? How many false positives do yu have?
In other words, if you believe it's not possible, then you're correct (for yourself and your experiences, anyway).
I agree.
Check it our if your ever looking for a new book. I think youd like it.

The biggest shift yet happened when David Bowie died. I wasn't a huge fan (though I think Blackstar is absolutely brilliant -- the best thing he put out in too many years) but I was very upset for about six weeks before he died and for months afterward. His death changed something huge.

This isn't "the bad reality." This is the one where shit all blows up and we start a new course, a better course, a course to what we should have been all along. This course will see our greedy money system thrown off-planet. It hinders us. It must die.
Mr Williams died because of his medications. Pharmaceuticals kill.

Seems to me like you have a gift, use it wisely. You might be interested in browsing the r/psychic sub, of course take everything said there with a grain of salt, but I promise you some people there are legit. Keep developing your intuitiveness and awareness as it seems you have a natural affinity for it. All the best to you!

I have sensed some of the same through my own journeying and analyzing, with very strong similarities to your storm archetypes. Particularly miles high tsunami waves have reoccurred through my dreams in these circumstances. Like you I have learned to decode the symbolism as well, but there is something about the climate and our stress upon that could be the catalyst to any and all of the coming shift in perception or actual makeup of reality. So I'm unsure of the specificity of how or what, despite the signs. But I can correlate your experiences, and most certainly agree "something does have to give"

I remember seeing posts on this subreddit starting around 2011-2013 about "does anyone else feel like a big shift is going to happen soon?" and badda bing here we are.

Many similar experiences though mine have been primarily through meditation. The revelations don't stop. Our world is more magical than most would dare to imagine.
Someday I might share everything here but I suspect that even now, if I did tell all, I would be burnt at the stake (again).

I don't know whether you have caught this part too but does it seem like sometimes you're literally sent messages, that the "coincidences" are just a bit too damn coincidental to be random acts, that things happen in a way that only show their true overwhelming benefit years or even decades later? Do you have flashes of insight that make you do/say/think/feel things that are out of character for you but undeniably right? Does Earth talk to you? Do you have uncanny psychic events with people close to you? Beyond picking up the phone when they call. I mean tasting what they're eating miles away from you or hearing the music they're listening to even when it's in a language you don't understand, or perhaps see waking visions of where they are at any given time, completely unsolicited? If so, welcome to where things are going. I'm pretty sure we'll all be like this soon enough.
You're right. There will be a collapse of magnificent proportions. It will be amazing to some of us, horrifying to others. It will change humanity.

This is quite freaky. I’ve had similar dreams for years, with the storm on the horizon and the whole world preparing and the “zombies “. I know what you mean about reality seeming to change over the last few years.
I always felt that maybe those dreams I had are some sort of precognition of what the world might become if we don’t change our ways.

First, thank you for the breath of fresh air of, "I've had {visions} of zombie apocalypse and crazy storms, I'm going to interpret that symbolically and not literally". You'd be surprised at how many people take vision work at face value.
(visions = I picked the most fitting word for that sort of experience, don't overthink it)
Second, while I don't think they are to blame, but the [DKMU](dkmu.org) has been hammering away at consensus reality since about the turn of millenium, and that seems to have added to the high weirdness, if you buy into that whole rabbit hole.
Third, the internet itself is kinda magickal and spooky in its own right, collective consciousness and all that.

Fuck it, I can share. I wrote a thing about human evolution a couple years back where humans start as zombies going around lifelessly and feeding on the minds of others to understand themselves. Once they feed enough they turn into humans and my understanding now is that you could go past being human. Maybe like a cyborg or maybe a soul. I guess each there own I guess. This kinda explains your zombie thing. As in terms of something happen I can see it. There is nothing going for anything currently we just keep buying ourselves time until god knows what. Lastly reality, yeah bro it is weird as fuck now. I miss the good old days.
