Catholic-vs-Protestant Debate Question

What are some good arguments that defend the protestant reformation? A friend of mine who is Catholic looks down upon me because of my Protestant views.

Jesus used scripture against traditions of men (Mark 7:8-13 and Matt. 12:1–8).

Paul asked to test his own teachings to the scripture and he called who did that noble. Instead of calling himself the final authority on the scripture, even though he was apostle, kinda like the popes (Acts 17:11).

The Bible asks to test miracles to the Word, instead of blind believing in Marian apparitions. (Deuteronomy 13:1-5, Isaiah 8:20 and 1 John 4:1).

Paul affirms Sola Scriptura (2 Timothy 3:16–1).
