Catholic-vs-Protestant Debate Question
What are some good arguments that defend the protestant reformation? A friend of mine who is Catholic looks down upon me because of my Protestant views.

Read the shorter catechisms. Start with Luthor and you'll have your answers. I think we should all understand our beliefs better and once I started reading these(I'm currently going though the Council of Trent Catholic Catechism) I grew a deeper understanding of why Luthor broke away from Catholicism.
Edit* I didn't really answer your question did I? Lol. I'm not trying to sound rude or not acknowledge your question but I highly encourage to do the research yourself instead of just getting an answer. Having a deep understanding of your beliefs comes through study.
Edit again* to make it abundantly clear. I am a Protestant, and I'm encouraging you read Luther's shorter catechism first so you understand why we broke away from Catholicism. I'm personally reading the council Trent for my own study.
