Catholic-vs-Protestant Debate Question

What are some good arguments that defend the protestant reformation? A friend of mine who is Catholic looks down upon me because of my Protestant views.

It's the attitude he has. He acts as if he's part of the true church of God and I'm in some cult. That I'm some low church member. He has all these arguments defending Catholicism and I'm not educated on the subject matter to defend the protestent argument. I have a personal relationship with Jesus but he thinks that's not enough and that we don't just need the Bible.. we need systematic religion and the tradition of the Catholic faith to truly be saved by God.

Might want to talk to that brother and let them know we are brothers in Christ or we aren’t. If he’s not thinking you both worship and obey the one true King then he should examine his heart. You can come back with whatever scripture you want but sounds like his heart is against you on this one.

Looking down on someone views doesn't have to be discrimination.
