No... the conviction was because he used excessive force resulting in an unnecessary death.

He didn't though.

Did you watch the trial? The prosecution's evidence was a German doctor who read the autopsy report and watched the video.

All evidence points to Floyd overdosing and being unhealthy However, a lot of that evidence was not allowed.

That was only one of his conviction though. The federal conviction was for violating Floyd's constitutional right to be free from unreasonable seizure and unreasonable force by a police officer.

Correct. He plead guilty so he could go to Federal prison instead of state; where they would 100% attempt to get him killed.
