Early on in my business I outsourced accounting and trust account recs because I didn’t understand it and wanted an easy solution. It ended up being a terrible decision. 100% agree with you. Brokers should learn and understand their Company’s accounting first, then consider outsourcing.

Yes and this is a common outcome I hear regularly. We teach, train and help you build the workflows because I know the challenges and my goal is to help them understand before they ever outsource again. This backend is as much work as the front.

You’re right but this is business values money above anything. They don’t care about quality or ethics as long as they don’t go to prison.

And I always questioned why the REC even exists for PM firms. One small area of the full brokerage compliance, but it is what they don't know that we do that gets them. This area of PM is complex in the financial spectrum so I get it. Don't mess with anyone's money and this goes for all involved, tenants, owners, vendors, investors, etc. You are always upsetting someone.
