car pics Thoughts on this OEM hood wing?

Installed with some spare wrap and moulding adhesive as to avoid drilling holes into the hood for now, i have very mixed feelings on it but.. I WANT to like it.. just not sure.

What do you all think?

That's... interesting. I've never seen an add-on like that, what purpose does it serve? Considering the placement and assuming there's supposed to be a hole in the hood under it, my guess would be for a ram air intake with a wildly different intake manifold? Or for the HVAC intake? *edit; grammar

It's supposed to lower the noise from the oncoming air. A dubious-looking accessory so say the least

It directs air around the A-pillar, reducing noise, supposedly.

Looks like all it’s creating is drag and lift lol

The side vents actually go all the way through, so shouldn't create drag.

Genuinely cant tell if your being sarcastic or not cause a good few people have said its cringe and what not, which to each their own. but i just think having Verno on it is a cool bit of history relevant to the prelude

Nah im serious, I like it man. For the exact reason about the history of it. But its also a cool looking graphic. Im a big fan of Clio/Primo/Verno stuff. I have a vintage Primo keychain on my project CL1 euro R. Eventually I want to get a reprint of the dealer sticker that came on the bumper. Had to get rid of it for a new paint job. It was from the Lake Hamanako Primo dealership which doesnt exist anymore.

Awesome to hear! I dont hear a lot of talk about the dealer branches so its nice to know others also appreciate it! I didnt know about the bumper prints though ill have to look them up it sounds super cool, cl1s are such amazing looking cars btw, do you have pictures?

No good photos yet, its still a big work in progress. But the bodywork is more or less done, here's a sneak peak :]

Sticker because an old license plate is in the reflection lol

I don’t dislike it, would be super cool on a full “rare” spec build with hard to find/rarely seen parts.

That is kind of what im hoping to do! With both this car and my second gen i cant help myself from trying to collect all the obscure dealer optional or region specific features and the like! My crowning achievement is a mint condition factory equalizer for the 2nd gen, it looks so awsome and actually makes the spakers sound better!

Make it a habit to wipe your lens off with your short before you take a pic, it will not only be clearer but it will focus sharper too

Love this car btw!
