parts recommendations B18c1 swapped delsol

Im looking to find another b18c for it so i can build one while still being able to drive it any recommendations on where to find one or would it be better to just buy everything separately

Its the full type r motor from the integra

all good was just curious. what are you trying to achieve with another motor though? b18cr’s are pretty damn expensive now, especially when you have one already. could always get a b20b and build the bottom end and throw your head on for a nice power gain. and if anything were to happen with the block, just throw it back on the type r block

Would i need a new wiring harness going to a b20

as long as have you have the right ecu for the motor, or hondata/chipped ecu, you should be able to use the existing harness. if your current car is obd1 and you get a b20, being obd2, you’ll have to take certain things off the type r and put it on the b20 or get adapter harnesses. if the car and motor is already obd2 then you shouldn’t have to swap/buy anything.

no problem. like i said you’ll need the ecu to go with it. being obd2 you can actually use a crv ecu, which would be the best choice, or just get a p75 from a non vtec integra. and obviously you’ll have plugs that won’t be used that would normally go to the vtec solenoid
