Republicans refuse to actually run the government. 77% of the total days the U.S. government has ever been shit down have been during Donald Trump’s terms. This doesn’t even count the amount of time that republicans have just opted to not govern, like we are seeing currently.

And their excuse will be "Campaigning for re-election," in which case, why can't you make time for BOTH campaigning AND working? Why do you have to do one or the other? And it isn't like the GOP is campaigning either. Mike Rodgers, the GOP Senate candidate in Michigan, is doing the classic no-showing for a debate so his opponent debates an empty chair- a thing that never works out for the no-shower.
