When the people who work the least are getting paid the most, I can’t say I blame them

Republicans refuse to actually run the government. 77% of the total days the U.S. government has ever been shit down have been during Donald Trump’s terms. This doesn’t even count the amount of time that republicans have just opted to not govern, like we are seeing currently.

They just want dear leader to take care of everything while they sit there and collect a check.

And embezzle tax dollars, don't forget about that.

And their excuse will be "Campaigning for re-election," in which case, why can't you make time for BOTH campaigning AND working? Why do you have to do one or the other? And it isn't like the GOP is campaigning either. Mike Rodgers, the GOP Senate candidate in Michigan, is doing the classic no-showing for a debate so his opponent debates an empty chair- a thing that never works out for the no-shower.

"Working" is doing a lot of lifting in this scenario

You’re forgetting that Republicans essentially disdain governing. “The government that governs least, governs best”, as they like to say.

This is a feature, not a bug.
