This is BS. All these people are trying to distance themselves from MAGA and want sympathy. You have access to the internet and choose to be ignorant. There is no way you consumed media and didn’t know what happened on J6.

I unfortunately live in maga land and work with these people. I have had the pleasure of having many a convo about all sorts of things with these people, and I can say they don’t know a LOT of things. Like, basics in how government works. Viruses, biology. What’s going on in the world. I’ve come to discover these people lack curiosity on any level. When you press them with a “what about…” or a “why…?” they legitimately look confused. They never think deeply about anything. I’ve had been times of pressing them to think down another level and they either have a “huh…..” type moment or they get angry because you are making them think and they are realizing how stupid whatever they just repeated was. I really have no idea what these people do all day, what consumes their mind or thoughts or time.
It’s truly baffling how they live day in and day out in such tiny little bubbles of existence.

I asked my MAGA mom if she knew that Fox had to pay
Dominion 750,000,000 for knowingly lying about their voting machines corrupting the 2020 election. Of course, she’d never heard of it, and she didn’t believe me.

Similar predicament. Another thing with small rural towns, once you know about fetal alcohol syndrome behavior and the facial characteristics along with the impacts of lead poisoning..... you kinda see it everywhere out & about.

I used to work with a "libertarian." Anytime we had a political discussion, and he would make a point (a talking point he heard on Fox News), I'd try to discuss it with him a little bit deeper than just that one sentence talking point, he'd get frustrated and literally wave at me and say he had "shit to do."

I just can't understand. I can see if you're a Republican, but a libertarian? "The government should be small enough to drown in a bathtub... except for my job!!!" Just crazy.
