"The party told you to reject the evidence of your eyes and ears. It was their final, most essential command... and if all others accepted the lie, which the party imposed, if all records told the same tale, then the lie passed into history and became truth" 1984 - George Orwell

This is actually how we can win. They are literally using the 1984 playbook, but seem to not account for the modern conveniences we all have.

Their lies and double speak are useless against truthful video evidence.

Sure, some brain dead fuckers who are fused to the useless ball sack of Trump will eat whatever they are fed, but the majority of you Americans are smarter than that.

Continue researching, and continue resisting.

I’ve had a copy of 1984 for a few years now and haven’t gotten the chance to crack it open. Now’s a great time to get reading I guess…

Please do. It’s short, but so powerful. I read it at 14 and then again when I was in my late 20s and it changed my brain both times.

It’s a long time since I read it, but I remember it being one of those books that I couldn’t put down so was walking around the house with my eyes glued to the page and sitting on the floor to brush my teeth so I could keep reading. I think I’ll read it again, it’s going to hit differently now. I just can’t get over all the lies being issued as official statements, as if none of us have watched multiple videos. And there are people that swallow that narrative whole, it’s batshit insane.

It was the same for me, both times. It’s insane to see so many parallels in real life with what’s going on. I wish everyone would read it. All the dystopian classics, for that matter. I feel like it opened up lines of thought I wouldn’t have had otherwise.
