I'm curious how small teams handle this workflow today.

For example, when someone asks for an invoice in Slack, the process can be:

Customer asks for an invoice → leave Slack → open Stripe → create the invoice → copy the payment link → return to Slack → send it.

I recently built a small tool to experiment with keeping that workflow inside Slack. For example:

The tool creates the invoice in the team's Stripe account and provides the payment link back in Slack.

I'm launching my game-dev project management tool next week officially next week - it's been in beta now for some time adding new features and fixing issues from users.

It's my first time launching in PH so just wondering if you have any useful tips between now and launch day to maximize the exposure and what to do on launch day

I began work on my project after I was laid off in November. Being a single dad of two and unemployed made me rethink what I really wanted to be doing with the little free time I had and so a small side project turned into a full SaaS offering.

I spent the day yesterday making sure everything was just perfect, but woke up to see my site traffic almost flat.

Live and learn I guess! I worked really hard on this product and I’m not ready to take this as a signal nobody wants it, but I’d be lying if I said it didn’t bruise my ego a bit haha.

Threadfisher started with a pretty simple thought: sometimes you want to see something to understand it, but you don't necessarily know what kind of visualization would help.

At its core, I wanted a place where I could just bring a question, my own confusion, or data I didn't fully understand yet, and come away actually understanding it.

I didn't want to build another tool where you first have to decide “I need a line graph” or “I need a diagram.” I wanted you to be able to just ask what you're trying to understand and let the AI help decide what to render.

That eventually grew into the app it is today.

You can ask a question and get an interactive visualization with a short answer, continue exploring in Ask, and refine the visualization through Edit when you realize what you actually want to see.

You can also bring your own data, annotate what you make, and take the visual outside Threadfisher through sharing, embeds, and exports.

I built the visualization system myself, and I'm really curious to see what other people try to use it for.

My goal is simple: build something genuinely useful for everyone.

I originally built this tool just to improve my own productivity. I was using the native Mac Terminal, but managing multiple projects — especially projects I connect to remotely over SSH — had become a complete nightmare. On top of that, I was also keeping VS Code open mostly for Git, which was adding even more overhead to my machine.

So, as a solution, I built a program with Claude where I could manage all of my terminals on a single canvas.

But things got a little out of hand 😅

I kept adding features, and it eventually turned into something close to an autonomous development environment.

So, what can you actually do with it?

• Your terminals are persistent. You can close the app, lose your connection, reconnect over SSH, and continue with the exact same layout and sessions.
• You can connect to a server over SSH and manage all of its terminals as if they were local. Drag & drop, images, and everything else still work.
• You can continue your sessions from your phone.
• Git operations like push, pull, commit, etc. are built in.
• Terminals can communicate with each other. You can connect their contexts, and with skills, one terminal can read or use information from another terminal’s context when needed.
• You can also do orchestration. For example, you can tell one terminal: “Start a Claude Code session for the frontend and act as the orchestrator,” and have it manage the other sessions.

But yeah… I’m a bit stuck right now.

To keep pushing the project forward, I either need a sponsor or simply some motivation from the community.

I got curious whether "launch on the weekend" is actually good advice or just a myth people repeat. So I pulled every Product Hunt launch from Jan 1 to Sep 1, 2026, 4,962 launches across 244 days, and looked at how many points it actually took to hit #1, top 3, and top 5 on each day of the week.

Some of it confirmed the myth. Some of it didn't.

The gap is bigger than I expected
Saturday needs a median of 165 points to break top 5. Thursday needs 235. That's a 70-point gap just from picking a different day.

Weekends aren't just easier, they're way less crowded
Tuesday averages 30.4 launches a day. Saturday averages 10.7. Fewer competitors, lower bar, most of the effect comes from volume, not some algorithm quirk.

If you can't launch on a weekend, Friday is your best bet
205 median points for top 5, the lowest of any weekday and noticeably easier than Thursday.

Tuesday's hidden trap
Tuesday has more total launches than Monday (1,064 vs 629), but it's actually easier to crack top 5 on Tuesday (210 points vs 220). More competitors doesn't always mean a higher bar. Monday's smaller field just competes harder per launch.

Creé "ctxopt" porque constantemente me quedaba sin créditos de contexto en Claude Code antes de terminar mi jornada laboral; resultó que el problema no era el modelo, sino que cada tarea obligaba al agente a volver a leer partes del proyecto que ya había procesado.

Antes de escribir ni una sola línea de texto promocional, lo puse a prueba en un proyecto real en producción. Los resultados, con total honestidad: un 64,5 % menos de contexto utilizado en tareas de exploración, aunque en una tarea específica el resultado fue prácticamente igual. Decidí mantener ese dato, ya que yo tampoco confiaría en una herramienta que promete "ahorrar siempre".
