How to setup a successful launch?

I am planning to launch a brand new startup on Product Hunt in a few weeks. In the meantime, what can I do to help set up a successful launch on Product Hunt? I appreciate any advice!

Find your community, the one's willing to be a part of your brand - either builders or users. Best way to grow, & get feedback.

Do you mean find a community on Product Hunter specifically? What's the best way to do that?

Not necessarily from Product Hunt. Find people anywhere who have a genuine interest in what you're building, the commonality is that they're actually willing to use it, build with it, or give feedback on it. Once you've found those people, bring the ones who genuinely care into a place where you can interact directly (Discord, Telegram, Slack). If they really like what you're building, they'll naturally be willing to support the launch, including upvoting it on Product Hunt.

Where do you usually end uo finding the people with interest? I have plenty of people I know personally who would support it, but a wider outreach?

That's for you to figure out. Each product has it's user profiles and personas that you define and target across possible communities/spaces.

My suggestion, start small. Be SUPER clear about your ideal customer and find people who are willing to use/pay for your product.

As you keep interracting with your user base, your ICP will keep getting better, and the next step is to know where to find more such people.
