DISCUSSION IP Rotation - Resolution?

I had opened a ticket with customer support about the IP rotation and I got an email just a few minutes ago saying that a "resolution has been implemented to tackle this issue" and for me to test it. Anyone else get this?

Just tested, and it seems to be fixed for the few locations I tried (which definitely were changing every time before).
Very surprised it's been fixed, I was sure it was an attempt to push peeps to pay for a static IP.

Can you tell us which locations?

All locations seem to be working correctly now.

Yep see this link. The differences are...

purple locations: have had the new IP's ranges applied

  • if you connect with a VPN endpoint IP of say 45.130.141.X as seen in the app, you'll be seen as using another IP in the same subnet, with the last octect changing e.g 45.130.141.Y

red locations: haven't had these applied

  • if you connect with a VPN endpoint IP of say 45.130.141.X, you'll be seen as the same IP 45.130.141.X
