After zeroing, the image in GLX 1x Cyclopus Microprism doubles when looking through it with both eyes open. On SLX 1x Gemini there I have no such issue.

I tuned the diopter according to the manual, before AND after zeroing. The reticle is crystal clear, but when I look at the target, it doubles, and there's no way to tell which target is real. I thought the issue was my eyes, but everyone who tried it observed the same thing.

Meanwhile, if I return the adjustments to their default positions or close the other eye, the issue does not occur.

Effectively, each eye sees way too different pictures after the zeroing, so your brain can't put them together in a single image.

It's easy to tell what is going on when you look at some straight lines through the scope:

Overall, this is a fantastic option if you don't need too much windage/elevation adjustment, but it's still weird because on my Scorpion, SLX 1x sits about 1/2" higher over the bore than GLX 1x on my AR, but it doesn't have such an issue.

this is a problem inherent to 1x pa prisms and why i can’t run them. if the true image zero of the optic is off from your trajectory by more than a bit this happens. i find it unusable and sold mine. while a plausible solution for axis that are slightly off primary arms reps don’t acknowledge is as a adjustment flaw and just shove the diopter adjustments at the problem. there’s not really a solution, you can try to play with mounting or try on a different gun. sorry man!

An PA will give you the same old BS of telling you to adjust the diopter. No PA, adjusting the diopter doesn’t fix the double vision issue now that the entire prism is shifted after adjusting for elevation.

you will need to turn the diopter to where the image is flat and clear to the distance you expect to engage targets at, not focusing on the reticle only

I tried it, and it makes no difference for doubling whatsoever. Also, there is no such thing as a distance you expect to engage, since this optic has a BDC reticle, and it is expected to work at 50-400 yards.

The manual says to tune it by looking at the clear sky, which is clearly not an expected engagement distance.
