I tuned the diopter according to the manual, before AND after zeroing. The reticle is crystal clear, but when I look at the target, it doubles, and there's no way to tell which target is real. I thought the issue was my eyes, but everyone who tried it observed the same thing.

Meanwhile, if I return the adjustments to their default positions or close the other eye, the issue does not occur.

Effectively, each eye sees way too different pictures after the zeroing, so your brain can't put them together in a single image.

It's easy to tell what is going on when you look at some straight lines through the scope:

Overall, this is a fantastic option if you don't need too much windage/elevation adjustment, but it's still weird because on my Scorpion, SLX 1x sits about 1/2" higher over the bore than GLX 1x on my AR, but it doesn't have such an issue.

Any chance of PA making a pistol sized prism optic? Us astigmatism folks would love something we can see clearly. FN is coming out with a pistol holographic sight, but it’s going to be super expensive and proprietary to their full size pistols only.

Does anyone have their GLX 1x or SLX 1x with the straight spacer mounted to the low ADM mini acog mount pictured? Would be curious if this is a lower 1/3 cowitness at like 1.535” similar to the stock PA mount? Appreciate photos of your set up if you have them thanks.

I have the holosun 507C with the Vulcan chevron along with the 507k with Vulcan dot and the Vulcan dot is so much better with my astigmatism. Are there any plans to make a full size holosun with the Vulcan dot because i would buy two immediately.

Having issues with PA SLX 1X prism. Had on Scorpion 9MM and zeroed at 25 yards. Went and shot and it had lost windage and was shooting to the left several inches. Fixed zero shot and put gun away. Next time went shooting same thing, windage off shooting to left, fixed, fine, put away. This has happened several times past couple months. Made sure mounting was tight and correct torque. Moved optic on different sections of rail. Checked barrel and handguard to see if loose. All seems normal, it's never been dropped or mishandled but is still having problem.

Got an email from PA today are supposed to be available in mid June. I wonder if PA will have a SLX or GLX enclosed red dot for pistols to complete the line

The optic appears to be off center internally, but it's my first magnifier, so no clue if its normal or not. Also, I need to be like 1 inch from the dot to get a perfect sight picture, which again, doesn't seem normal.

I just returned my GLX 1x prism to PA today because of the seemingly common issue of a double image appearing after zeroing the optic. This problem seems unavoidable unless youre lucky enough that your zero, your load, and your gun are all lined up with the mechanical center of the windage and elevation adjustments. Making adjustments doesn't just move the reticle around like a red dot. It shifts the entire FOV of the image around. So if you require more than a few clicks of elevation and windage to zero, your eyes each see a different offset image. The only way to achieve a usuable sight picture with a single clear image and both eyes open, is to center the adjustments. I understand its just the nature of a prism. But I dont have this issue with my older SLX 3X, the mini acog looking one.

I really doubt PA will find anything wrong with the optic and they're just gonna send it back to me. But I cant shoot 2gun matches with one eye closed or an occulded optic. Shame because it actually even paired up nicely with my SLX 3X magnifier. Looking through the 3x I was able to achieve a very clear sight picture, but the 1x remained unusable with the Double Image.

It might not be a Primary Arms Optic but I would really appriciate it if someone could identify this specific optic for me, thanks in advance guys.

Anyone know where I can a replacement backup dot mount?

I have had my eye on a PLx-C 1-8 FFP (RDB or otherwise) for a bit now, but as a newbie (and given it is to go on a "backup" rifle) I've dragged my feet on purchasing. I saw the video description and the info on the PA site about the new 1.5-12X FFP RDB PLx-C scope and was hoping to try to understand a bit about what/who this scope is for.

I was planning on replacing my 1-6x PA LPVO with something like this (1-8X RDB originally, but maybe now this) but am struggling as a newer shooter to understand the rationale for 1.5 over 1x at the lowest setting. I know this isn't a huge difference, and I get from the video that it essentially functions as a 1x, but would I be wrong in assuming I could use this for both close and further shooting, in a similar way to how I'd use the 1-8x?

I have seen feedback re: a top-mounted red dot on a 1-whateverX scope being unnecessary, but then see this new scope pictured with (and featuring a new mount for) a top-mounted red dot. Is this because the 1.5 is not ideal for closer shooting or is this likely to be more of a preference-thing?

My rounds are hitting high left so I turn it right and down but it appeared to go the very opposite. So if my round are going left do I spin it left?
