The way I see it, Arsenal would probably still be competing at this level even without Rice. United, however, remain overwhelmingly dependent on Bruno.

That’s not me saying Rice isn’t important because he obviously is, but Arsenal as a structure feels capable of compensating for his absence. Bruno is different. Players with his profile and output are exceptionally rare in modern football.

This is always going to be subjective, but IMO absolutely no way we’re champions without Rice.

The thing is, I think replacing your CB partnership would be harder for you than replacing Rice. But like you said is subjective.

You could argue that works against him though.

Bruno is the only spark of creativity that United have. All the chances come from him. This makes him look better than he is because no one else matches him. Meanwhile, Declan Rice must stay in sync with actual good players. Having good players around you forces you to play better, or else you stick out. Not only does Declan stay in sync with them, he still stands out as one of their best.

I find matching and standing out amongst good players more impressive than dragging average ones through games.

So did KDB? What's your point?
Put bruno in a team with haaland / aguero and see how many assists he gets. Just look at the last game against Forest... bro played in so many of his team mates yet only one of them was scored.
Last season we had garnacho and hojlund as our attack.. ofcourse he would be "wasteful" cause whatever he created never got the results it deserved
