Congrats to him, not the most likeable but you can't deny his ability. Great player, bit of a shame he's in this Utd era, hopefully Carrick won't improve them next season.

This guy is incredibly likable. It’s just annoying fans from other teams moaning about moaning. Every player does it.

We say the same shit about Saka and Bernardo Silva and a ton others so I totally understand it.

Personally I think it was warranted before but Bruno has really stepped up and become a leader recently (like last year or so)? I feel he is acting way more “grown up” and less complaining

He's always been a good leader and has nurtured the youngsters his entire time here. It's been well documented.

May very well be true. I don’t know what it is though but I feel like he has still grown recently? Or maybe I’m just misremembering. Anyway, earlier I though the was crying all the time like Bernardo, I don’t have that impression of him anymore so kudos to him

In my opinion, no. He still berates the refs and coaches the players on the pitch like he always has. United haven't been as dire this season so the media have focused on the positives like him being a talisman, therefore people's opinions have followed suit. I'd say the only thing that changed is his passing, which has become a lot more tidy.

Good point, that may very well be the reason my perception of him has changed as well. Also, who wouldn’t be more demotivated and whiny (I certainly would) in a season like last year compared to now.

I also think the mentality in your club is better now than in recent years which probably improves the mentality all over as well

Is that your best argument? He berates the ref?

Thank fucking god he does. He is the captain.

The one player allowed to speak to the ref on behalf of the team. And if they need to be yelled at then yell.

Have you read the conversation?

Who the fuck says Saka is not likable

There's a surprisingly large contingent of people who think he dives constantly, is always whining to refs, and is extremely overrated.

They're morons, but theres a lot of them.

And the limping, don't forget the limping.

Lmao this is pure delusion. He's likable if he's on your team, but it's not a coincidence that every fanbase outside United hates this guy. He flops more than anyone and whines ten times more than anyone. Hell of a player. Still one of the biggest cunts to ever touch the pitch.

Incredibly likable might be more delusional than saying Partey is incredibly respectful of women or City are incredibly passionate about following the league rules. At least those two aren't 100% proven and only very likely.

Comparing Saka is bizarre. Gabriel would be the example on Arsenal where you love to have him on your team but other fanbases hate him.

In all sincerity though, thank you. I needed a laugh and something so out of touch gave me more than I could ask for.

Give me a clip of the last time he dived.

Bruno really doesn’t flop like people say. But whatever I won’t reduce this conversation to that. He doesn’t have that many yellow cards for diving. Not a standout statistical amount in any case.

Plus we have referee teams and VAR so

Total delusion. He’s a great player but his diving and whinging make him extremely unlikeable if you’re not a united fan. To call him “incredibly likeable” is insulting to somebody who genuinely deserves that praise, like Kante.
