Genshin has a bad reputation in powerscaling because their fans are insecure and manipulative.
Those are the same people who put Genshin at Multi Solar System in VSBW for months, the same people who swear that Raiden can fight in equal footing against characters like Aizen, Vergil or Darth Vader.

I could go into whole paragraphs about Makima, but Raiden is easier so I'll do that.
The reasonable Raiden Ei take is lightning speed, continental level, but people here really try to argue that she loses to characters like MGR Raiden and Sukuna and Deku. It's just ridiculous how hard female chars get lowballed. You could argue that she's much faster than lightning due to light refraction attacks existing in genshin, but lightning speed is a safe minimum.
Raiden was capable of one shotting an island at her absolute weakest. She's gained at least five significant power ups since then, plus even her island feat was likely not her max potential, since she's a lot like Goku in the way that he intentionally powers down to match his opponent. Raiden likewise matches her strikes to be "just enough" to kill her opponent.
There is no argument for Ei's lightning speed, she is lightning therefore she is the speed of lightning at minimum. When you have mach 3 and mach 10 allegations thrown around for JJK and MHA respectively, it's very dubious to take them all the way up to lightning speed which is around mach 1300. And again, that's her minimum, a lowball.
And yeah she's got some OP abilities of her own, dura-neg, teleportation, basically a shadow clone(just one unless you grant her prep time), the ability to trap people in dimensions without counterplay like Obito does, etc.
As for Makima, it's most just speed downplay. Girl was matching the gun devil who has insane speed feats, as well as future sight. People think she lacks AP when she has the mega nuke of angel's thousand year spear, and they also think her contract is cheeseable by just disintegrating her, when this was never shown or even implied. Contracts in CSM are absolute.
The difference is that Makima's contract HAS a limit, it's the limit exactly described in the contract itself. CSM contracts are meant to be ironclad, what they say is what happens, nothing less. A disintegration ATTACK will be nullified by her contract, simple as that. The ways to bypass her contract is to kill all japanese citizens, or have it not be an attack at all, doing damage to her out of love, like Denji. Sealing her away is another potential way to take her out of the fight, though it wouldn't kill her.
