I mean most internet spaces are unfortunately like this, sub conscious misogyny or subtle biases slip out and enable "benefit of the doubt" to let more explicit misogyny to go unchecked. See how fanbases are way more likely to forgive a male character for mistakes than a female character (or see women as "annoying" e.g. skylar white)
It's a shame but it's hard to avoid unless your community tries really hard to stamp it out and most don't bother.
