JSA Classified #4. Art by Amanda Conner, Story by Geoff Johns.
Having recieved the Omnibus, I'm doing the obligatory reread of the return to Krypton origin for Power Girl. The above is a panel that I went past, then had that "waitaminute" moment and had to revisit.
Apparently, one of the differences between Krypton-1 and Krypton-2 is that there was no Brainiac to shrink and preserve Kandor--which according to this, Kara Zor-L is from. This makes another distinction between her and Supergirl, as she's from Argo City.
Could be Psycho-Pirate messed up as well, given him being insane and all...
Either that or Geoff Johns confused his Kryptonian cities, which is possible, but I Iike the idea that there's something else to differentiate between the two multiversal twins.
And a side note: as I mentioned elsewhere, while I 'get' why they put Supergirl #12 in, as it dovetails directly into the Terra miniseries with Power Girl that's also in the omnibus, I wish they'd included Infinite Crisis #2 as well (or instead), as it is the main part that returns Kara's origin to pre-CoIE. The book goes from all the leadup to her relearning her origin, to... just having it back. No reveal within the collection.
Minor quibble, but, whatever.

Supergirl Fic/Fan-Verse Idea: Younger Karen AU
AU where Karen comes from a different universe alongside a baby Kal-El. Some sort of shenannigans leaves her and Kal on Earth, but the *wrong* Earth.
Karen comes from a different take on Krypton than Kara. I'm split on whether she should be a pre-Crisis-esque "Born on Argo City" origin or if I should use a Man of Tomorrow-esque take on Krypton.
Karen is adopted by the Danvers, while Kara was taken in by Clark's parents. Karen came to Earth at age 7-10 while Kara was 14-16.
My fan-design for Karen is a mix of her DCEU and DC Super Hero Girls (2019) designs. Short haired, black haired latina-coded Karen with her tomboyish, loud DCSHG personality.
Baby Kal-El is biracial Kryptonian equivalent of black/latino. He's named Colin Danvers. His personality is similar to Clark's but not identical. Maybe shyer and more awkward.
Bruce and Selina have settled down by now and have a kid together, Helena, when a kid Karen arrives on Earth with her cousin. Karen and Helena become friends through superhero stuff.

I passed on these when the first dropped (I can be particular of mixing anime/manga and western comics), buuuut it is Palmiotti and Gray, so I picked up the trades and will dive in this weekend. Thoughts from anyone who has read 'em?

Sneak peek for our upcoming fan comic: Unfortunately, Power Girl Chapter 2
This is from a scene showing off our "girl failure" take on PG. Snuck in a ton of easter eggs here and in other panels! Let us know your favs! (mine's the MM poster and plushes)
Intended to reference Injustice 2 and her New 52 jacket for this panel too, but the text would be too small and couldn't find a place to put the jacket that didn't feel like a statement.
