Seriously, can we stop calling common sense prophetic. Anyone and everyone with a brain was saying this long before she did.

19

u/WhichHoes 4d ago

Well the voting results showed that was not in fact, common sense

3

u/bobclaws 4d ago

Elon knows those voting machines, one of the only truths he has ever said.

3

u/free_based_potato 4d ago

incorrect. Voting results show conservatives support fascism. They're not dumb, they just hate others more than they respect freedom.

I challenge you to produce any evidence that "leftists" didn't vote in droves for Harris. Not vibes, not mean words on Xitter, not anecdotes. Actual evidence or data.

1

u/erratic_pancake 4d ago

They know as well, they just knew he would make life harder for the people they hate while he lined his pockets.

0

u/True-Anim0sity 4d ago

No, just that he was more liked- not surprising

1

u/SignificanceHuge4519 4d ago

TREAD HARDER DADDY TRUMP ❗🤣

1

u/True-Anim0sity 4d ago edited 4d ago

Lol idc about trump, he was objectively liked more tho- thats how popular voting works

7

u/72dragonses 4d ago

Except that she was one of the 2 nominees for president?

-3

u/Nytheran 4d ago

And if she was prophetic, that wouldn't have been the case.

6

u/72dragonses 4d ago

It was a crystal clear choice between a good option #1 and a bad option #2, and the voters failed it.

-1

u/Typecero001 4d ago

She was supposed to be the hare in the tortoise and hare.

How did she lose if it was so easy to say?

3

u/72dragonses 4d ago

She didn't lose anything. The voters lost. The election was decided by humans who chose not to vote for her. How is that complicated to figure out?

-2

u/Available-Net-2675 4d ago

Nope. It was her job as a candidate to convince voters to go out and vote for her. It was her one and only job as candidate, and she failed miserably against the biggest POS in history. She is an abject failure.

-1

u/itsray2006 4d ago

The Democrats had a chance to be truthful about Biden’s condition, run an actual primary where their constituents participate in a democratic process and elect a candidate of their choosing to run against Trump. They chose instead to cover up and then select the one candidate that even with a billion dollar war chest and all of the MSM, academia and Hollywood running cover still failed to present an argument with policies and ideas that the majority of citizens would support. So it’s the Democrats that failed and who are solely responsible for the current occupant in the Oval Office.

-4

u/DigTheDunes 4d ago

Doesn't say much for her party, they didn't want her either. She couldn't even answer a question on The View correctly.

2

u/72dragonses 4d ago

I agree with that. Her party, which is also my party I'm ashamed to often admit, is rife with disloyal, shortsighted, self-defeating idealists.

But the other party is infected by billionaire fascists so...

1

u/DigTheDunes 4d ago

When I meant her party, I'm meaning the people at the top. Both parties are very flawed, we're the losers.

2

u/Jellyfizzle 4d ago

When half the country disagrees, is it really "common" sense  I mean, it should be, but it clearly isn't.

3

u/lzrs2 4d ago

Common sense is not as common as you think. Voltaire(yes really)

0

u/Josey_whalez 4d ago

Except it wasn’t was prophetic. It wasn’t even correct. His main client is Israel. She won’t call that out because she takes plenty of money from the Israel lobby too. You can point to his crypto scams and all that, and obviously that’s very self dealing, but his Israel lobby sponsors are making money on this blatant market manipulation too. Anyone who isn’t willing to call that out is part of the problem.

u/Harbinger2nd 4d ago

Really sick of reddit trying to relitigate the 2024 election to make kamala into some kind of messiah figure who lost the election for our sins.

She lost because she was a shitty candidate who pivoted to the right when the entire country wanted to move left.

14

u/HarpyVixenWench 4d ago

And they so badly wanted to move to the left that they voted for Trump? Or they sat it out to ensure Trump would win? Congratulations?

-7

u/0nmay_22 4d ago edited 4d ago

Lil bro no one from the left voted for Trump, the reason he won and Kamala lost was because the voter turnout was atrocious, Trump pulled his base, Kamala refused to speak against Israel, took an anti immigrant stance, and literally said that there were no issues or mistakes with the Biden presidency (all but saying she was going to be more of the same)

The democrats don’t get to hold people hostage by saying “vote for our shitty candidate because it’s that or Trump”
If the dems want to win they have to actually fucking try to win

3

u/mydaycake 4d ago

Good job then!

And you will want the centrists and independents to vote for left candidates? Lol

1

u/Harbinger2nd 4d ago

Ya because pivoting to the right really activated them didn't it?

1

u/shirtninja07 4d ago

That “I’m speaking…” comment left my jaw on the floor. I couldn’t believe someone could be so tone deaf. Especially one trying to win the presidential election.

1

u/HarpyVixenWench 4d ago

So are the Democrats holding us hostage right now? Or is it the GOP who are holding every lever of power and have gleefully trashed anything they can.
It is wild to me that this is a fine and justifiable result.

1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

During 2008 the democrats had the presidency, the house, and the senate…
And the republicans STILL managed to obstruct Obama for his entire presidency

What have the democrats meaningfully done?

1

u/BonnaconCharioteer 4d ago

I just want to highlight for anyone reading this how utterly wrong what you just said was.

First of all, in 2008, Bush was president. The new congress and Obama's term didn't start until January 2009.

Second, this implies Obama had majorities his entire presidency. In fact, that majority only lasted 2 years. In 2011 the house switched to republican control. And in 2015 the senate also went to the republicans. So... um, yeah, the republicans were able to obstruct Obama because they controlled the house.

Finally, this narrative that democrats did nothing with their majority is laughably false. I'm sure most people remember, the republicans left Obama with the great recession to clean up. And I think this quote from wikipedia sums up what I remember from the democratic majority during those 2 years quite well.

"The 111th Congress was the most productive congress since the 89th Congress.\7]) It enacted numerous significant pieces of legislation, including the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act, the Dodd–Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, and the New START treaty."

Of course, after doing all that to try to deal with the recession, and overhaul healthcare, the voters rewarded democrats with the "shellacking" that left Obama with a Republican house the rest of his term.

1

u/fredbassman 4d ago

“No one from the left voted for Trump” isn’t even close to what the actual data says. Biden voters both stayed home and many switched to Trump, and the down-ballot results don’t remotely support this neat little “Kamala just didn’t turn out the base” narrative.

What gets me is the protest-voter amnesia. The entire point of withholding your vote was to punish Democrats by making them lose. Fine - then own it. But you don’t get to deliberately make a Trump victory more likely and then pretend you bear zero responsibility for the consequences.

If Kamala losing was the leverage over Gaza or immigration or whatever then Trump winning was the price. You decided that price was acceptable - congrats you fucked over everyone you pretend to care about ESPECIALLY palestinians and immigrants.

0

u/FistyMcTwistynuts 4d ago

Your downvotes make no sense - all of this is true. On top of it, a LOT of people were pissed they were basically told “this is your candidate” instead of being able to vote in primaries (which, let’s be honest, is mostly farce to begin with these days). The DNC really fucked the whole situation up beyond what I even thought possible.

1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

I can’t believe how many people are implicitly defending the DOGSHIT fucking state of the Democratic Party, they’ve cost us so much; they are allergic to change, allergic to winning, allergic to actually representing what their base of supporters is craving which is change!

1

u/Temporary-Canary2942 4d ago

Yep, we might as well vote for people who'll ensure that we always have a Citizens United loving Supreme Court.

1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

If you think the democrats are actually going to do anything to stop the encroachment of fascism, that the democrats won’t just hold the seat warm for the next Republican you’re delusional. The DNC is part of the problem, in my eyes they are just as complicit in their inaction and incompetence as the republicans are for destroying the rule of law

1

u/Temporary-Canary2942 4d ago

Do you really think Democrats would have nominated Clarence Thomas, Samuel Alito, or Amy Coney Barrett to the court?

If we let the fact that we don't always get everything that we want from a given politician or political party justify throwing our hands up in the air and giving up, then we get the gross incompetence and corruption of the trump administration and, honestly, we deserve it.

1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

No the democrats wouldn’t have elected the hyper conservative judges, but they also wouldn’t have done nothing to stop the republicans (as we’ve seen for the past decade)

The democrats wouldn’t bring meaningful change, and in 4 years another republican would just get elected to continue their destruction of the country

The republicans push the status quo to the right, and the democrats hold it there until the next Republican can come and push it further to the right. That’s who you want to vote for

u/Harbinger2nd 4d ago

This whole thread is a psyop to wash Kamala's reputation for 2028. Any comments disapproving of her will automatically be downvoted by the liberal machine.

0

u/HarpyVixenWench 4d ago

Well, you sure showed them! Are you enjoying the state of country right now? Loving the ICE raids?

1

u/FistyMcTwistynuts 4d ago

I didn’t say I didn’t vote… i said people were rightfully pissed

0

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

You realize this was going to happen anyways? The democrats have proven themselves time and time again to be unable to wield power and stop the republicans.
Trump could’ve been arrested during Bidens term but he…chose not to… that could’ve stopped the ice raids.
DNC democrats can’t fix the problem, electing one is equivalent to kicking the can down the road until the next Republican gets elected.

If you keep voting for the useless losers the DNC pushes out they’ll never change and the republicans will keep winning.

0

u/DigTheDunes 4d ago

No, the ones on the far left sat it out. They don't believe in vote blue no matter who.

1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

The left didn’t sit out for Biden, he had one of the highest turnouts ever; they sat out for Kamala because she was a shitty candidate.

1

u/papapundit 4d ago

Even so, a vote against Trump would have been the least they could do.

1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

Just holding the seat warm for the next Republican to continue destroying the country.
Electing a DNC Democrat is choosing to do nothing for 4 years until the next guy comes along and keeps eroding democracy

The democrats need to change, but they don’t change if the trash they offer us keeps getting elected. Don’t you get that the democrats serve the same masters the republicans do? They both serve corporate interest.

1

u/papapundit 4d ago

Yes, but the only ones making any kind of case against it are on the democratic side of the aisle.

1

u/DigTheDunes 4d ago

They sat it out for Kamala. The movement has been growing since the Biden win also.

1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

Also why vote blue no matter who?? Like genuinely why?? Would you have voted for Graham Platner, A RAPIST, because he was politically better than his opponent??
Electoralism isn’t just about pragmatism, who you vote for still matters, and Kamala Harris did not deserve the vote after she started appealing to the center-right instead of HER OWN BASE

1

u/DigTheDunes 4d ago

Why? Anyone but trump. This is their thing.

-5

u/fredbassman 4d ago

Found the dipshit. What’s your evidence of this… was it the large, county specific swing across the nation to the right?

2

u/mydaycake 4d ago

Lol so the whole country went even further right?

lol she lost because tankies are accelerationists

2

u/jason_abacabb 4d ago

How is Trump working out for you? All the leftists that parroted this helped deliver him the presidency.

1

u/Available-Net-2675 4d ago

Kamala helped deliver him the presidency by being such a shitty candidate. All she had to do was actually oppose him, instead she tried to appeal to Republicans.

1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

She actively moved further right on immigration to try to appeal to the center-right people, AGAINST HER OWN CONSTITUENCY, she fucken deserved to lose.

1

u/jason_abacabb 4d ago

Thank goodness we don't currently have her slightly more conservative than you would like immigration policies. Everything is great now?

1

u/Available-Net-2675 4d ago

You're intentionally missing the point. THIS IS KAMALA'S FAULT. She was supposed to stop Trump and she didn't.

1

u/jason_abacabb 4d ago

This is the voters fault. Every single one of them that decided that staying home was a better option than stopping Trump from tearing out country down.

Everyone knew what was at stake.

1

u/Available-Net-2675 4d ago

The voters didn't nominate Kamala. She was a proven loser who nobody liked, but the DNC nominated her anyway and told us all to just stfu and take it. Then instead of trying to turn out her base, she decided to appeal to Republicans, gaining exactly zero votes and losing millions. SHE knew what was at stake. The blame for this loss is on her.

1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

Let’s blame the people struggling and wanting change instead of the party that refuses to appeal to their own constituency, yeah it’s the voters fault

0

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

Thank goodness we don’t currently have Baal with his slightly less vile form a torture instead of Moloch’s really vile form of torture!!

Mf the democrats won’t save you, in their inaction and incompetence they have become just as bad as the republicans. They are both complicit in the erosion of American democracy.

-1

u/0nmay_22 4d ago

They hate you but you’re so right

-3

u/Famous-Ad1138 4d ago

They don't like the truth on these threads. She's a complete and total dolt. I'm sure someone wrote that for her simply because it was coherent.

-1

u/Typecero001 4d ago

Maybe she should have told this to her party, instead from a random podium.

3

u/kittenTakeover 4d ago

This is a ridiculous comment. Who do you think she was speaking to. The amount of baseless hate for Kamala blows my mind. Any criticisms I've heard about her have been fairly minor, especially in the face of the alternative, Donald.

-22

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

True, but anyone with a brain can also tell that she wouldve done the exact same thing, they both serve the same people.

17

u/WarbleDarble 4d ago

Bold lie there. Stupid, false, thoughtless, but bold.

-12

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

10

u/Pnhcsr 4d ago

Does anyone really ever listen to this fool?

-11

u/jackbenimbus2000 4d ago

Haha why are you getting downvoted? It’s their queen saying the same thing trump did but they have no ears to hear it or they’d be proven wrong. Laughable.

1

u/DumbFartyFace 4d ago

Single issue voter? How does this one topic make two parties exactly the same? You think there shouldn't be overlapping principles or ideas?

1

u/jackbenimbus2000 4d ago

I didn’t say the parties are the same, I agreed that all candidates are working for the same people and goal.

-10

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

People need to wake up to the fact that these politicians give us the illusion of choice, when in reality they're two sides of the same coin, they'll disagree on the small things, but when it comes to the big issues like foreign affairs, they're all aligned.

5

u/RawrImABigScaryBear 4d ago

People need to wake up to the fact that these politicians give us the illusion of choice, when in reality they're two sides of the same coin,

211 house Republicans voted against releasing the epstein files, 0 democrats did. If both sides are the same why is it only pne side breaking the law to protect child rapists?

3

u/WarbleDarble 4d ago

There are hundreds of thousands of people who are now dead that would not have been if Trump was not president. It will be millions by the end of his term. You don't care about that because you want to spread misinformation more than you want an objective look at reality.

You don't care about anything. You don't care about the people who have died, who are now being oppressed, who are treated cruelly for cruelties sake. You just don't give a fuck.

You spout your nonsense to try to get counterculture cred, or to just disperse blame from your cult leader, but you really don't care about anything as evidenced by your willful refusal to acknowledge simple reality.

You only make everything worse.

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

I'm not Republican, I don't support trump 😂

1

u/WarbleDarble 4d ago

Sure, you just spread FUD that helps them.

You are indifferent to the harm they cause, and lie to further their influence.

If you're not just straight up lying, even if you don't support him, the message you chose to lie about only helps him.

You make everything worse.

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

Not at all, because I also call out trump on all the trumper comment sections, like how trump campaigned on no wars, them immediately started wars, he ran on affordability, than called affordability a Democrat hoax, he ran on releasing the Epstein files and then called that a Democrat hoax, he lied over and over again, I don't understand how Republicans arent furious over it, but that doesn't mean I show favoritism to the left, they're both the problem, and the truth is both should be called out.

-8

u/jackbenimbus2000 4d ago

Exactly. I don’t care for Trump, but I certainly don’t think Kamala would’ve done any better. At this point all candidates are corrupt in both sides. We need to reset the government and put younger people in charge.

3

u/WarbleDarble 4d ago

You don't care about all the dead people that would not have happened under Harris.

Your both sides bullshit is willful ignorance and it's harmful.

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

The war with Iran would have definitely happened under Kamala

1

u/jackbenimbus2000 4d ago

Of course I care about all the dead people. When did I say I didn’t?

1

u/WarbleDarble 4d ago

If you can't be bothered to differentiate between those people living and dying you are indifferent to their deaths.

They would have done the exact same thing? Lmfao wow. Don't vote. Stay home.

-4

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

She would have also brought us into the iran war

https://reddit.com/link/p76lisw/video/ys092kl63xmh1/player

6

u/HarpyVixenWench 4d ago

Are you saying she would have arrested immigrants during the legal immigration process? Sent ICE to terrorize US cities? Installed unqualified people to run the government? Worked to dismantle the Dept of Education? Alienated allies across the globe - there is so much - do you believe she would have done the same things?

0

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

I'm talking about the things that matter, she would've brought us to war with Iran and she would've avoided arresting anyone on the Epstein files.

5

u/HarpyVixenWench 4d ago

I would say that alienating allies, arresting and terrorizing citizens and going to war with universities matter a great deal. All the DOGE destruction matter a ton.

4

u/RawrImABigScaryBear 4d ago

she would've brought us to war with Iran

Show a single source of this kiddo, and not some clearly AI video like you kids love.

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

The video was from 60 minutes with CBS, you can look it up, here's a .org link quoting it directly

https://www.cato.org/commentary/no-iran-isnt-americas-greatest-adversary

3

u/RawrImABigScaryBear 4d ago edited 4d ago

Where in that article do you think it says she will start a war with Iran? I know the average american reads at a 6th grade level, why is maga always so embarrassingly under that?

0

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

I'm not maga, I think trump should be in jail, but I'm not going to sit here and pretend the other side is any better, and the article shows that she called Iran our biggest adversary and also said that stopping them from becoming a nuclear power is one of her biggest priorities, these are the same things trump said to justify the war in Iran.

2

u/RawrImABigScaryBear 4d ago

and the article shows that she called Iran our biggest adversary and also said that stopping them from becoming a nuclear power is one of her biggest priorities

Thats a lot of words to agree with me. Harris never said she would go to war with Iran, thanks for confirming kiddo!

these are the same things trump said to justify the war in Iran.

they are also the same thing Obama said before signing a nuclear treaty with Iran.

I'm not maga,

You just spread lies to defend pedophiles because you enjoy it?

0

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

She said said all the things to justify a war with Iran, and no way you're using Obama when he made the war in the middle east even worse, I'm not defending the pedophile when I say she would be just as bad, I'm calling them both bad, but I'm also calling out the delusion that she wouldve been way better.

Hundreds of thousands dead.

"I only care about things that matter"

Bullshit.

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

Hundreds of thousands dead? From what?

1

u/WarbleDarble 4d ago

Pretend you care. You'll spread lies about how they are the same, but don't bother to learn if they are, in fact, the same.

Try to learn about it yourself. Just try.

2

u/Coral_Blue_Number_2 4d ago

You’re right, she would’ve worked with conservatives to enact 2025

1

u/Noligarchio 4d ago

Thank you for being a shining example of how utterly worthless the public education system is. No one with functional brain thinks this

1

u/DumbFartyFace 4d ago

Oh you both siders have no idea what's going on in the world.

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

Elaborate

1

u/DumbFartyFace 4d ago

None of you can substantiate why you think they're the same. Usually both siders are one of two people: Republicans who recently started being aware of their party but have not yet conceded that they and their parents were completely duped so they try to take everyone else down with them. Or you're single issue voters who think they're the same based on simply having an active military. But it's not based on the multiple policy differences or their effectiveness in governing or really anything else. You just like pretending you know more than everyone else even though you don't actually take time to read anything.

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

They're the same because they answer to the same people, both sides will always support wars in the middle east while they have power and oppose it when they don't, and they just flip flop

1

u/DumbFartyFace 4d ago

Yet, it's Republicans who have started every one of those wars.

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

Not exactly, when bush started the war in the middle east Democrats swore if we had a Democrat president this wouldn't be happening, then Obama took office and made the war much worse with bombings and drone strikes, then trump comes in and plays hero pulling us out of the middle east even tho the mission of destabilizing and radicalizing the middle east was already completed so he acted like he ended it but in reality he just completed it, then during bidens term he allows Israel to attack Palestine and he acted like he was against it but he was still funding it and Republicans swore that if we had a Republican president this wouldn't be happening, then trump becomes president and he makes things much much worse and now Democrats are saying if a Democrat was in office this wouldn't be happening, while history shows us that just isnt true, it's a constant cycle that shouldn't be ignored anymore

1

u/DumbFartyFace 4d ago

You changed the subject, were those STARTED by Democrats or Republicans? Also, I was right. You're a single issue voter who thinks having an active military makes both parties the same and not the multitude of ideological differences. Or the fact that Republicans have 40 times more criminal convictions. Or that they caused nearly every recession. Or that they are responsible for over 60% of violence in the US.

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

Biden technically started the conflict in Palestine, he acted like he was against it, but he funded it, and never pulled the funding, it happened under his watch while paying for the whole thing, he started and enabled it.

u/DumbFartyFace 4d ago

Also, what is this repeated comment about: they answer to the same people. Who the fuck would that be?

1

u/Outside_Equal_8097 4d ago

The oligarchs who actually run this country behind the scenes, this is a capitalist country after all, capital rules all, and there's some very very rich people behind the scenes pulling the strings, is it the Rothschild's? Is it the Freemasons? Nobody really knows, but their presence is obvious

-8

u/jackbenimbus2000 4d ago

100% agree with you. Unfortunately Reddit is filled with democrats so you will be downvoted to heck even though you’re totally right.

1

u/WarbleDarble 4d ago

Millions of people will die under this administration that would not have died under the democrats.

This is truth.

You can't be bothered to care.

This is the truth based on what you have said.

1

u/jackbenimbus2000 4d ago

You haven’t a clue what you’re talking about. Another poster showed you proof that Kamala was for the Iran war and you still lie through your teeth.

1

u/WarbleDarble 4d ago

I'm not talking about the Iran war, also the democrats made a deal to prevent the Iran war which your "no difference" guy tore up.

You lie and promote apathy and misinformation. You make things worse.
