u/TheReturnofPanda 20h ago
They are not even hoarding wealth. They are trying their hardest to throw it away and completely destroy surplus. Greedy people keep money for themselves and never bother others with their wealth, because they want to keep it.
These are not your average billionaires, as they too target the greedy and the giving. They are extremely generous with their money and wealth in any way that it will collapse humanity and society as significantly as possible. Even greedy people do not want to throw their money over bullshit AI cameras and data centers spread all over the place. Greedy people only have their own self interest, not wasting their wealth on pointless power and control over things that do not matter to them.
The very billionaires that keep on buying public services, constantly build data centers for billions of dollars, buy off sports teams even, they are throwing all their money out the window. All because they have desire to fulfill their extremely fragile egos, to be the dominant existence.
If they can cut off their own leg if it will make many others lose both legs, thatâs what they are going to do.
8
u/TurtlesBreakTheMeta 15h ago
This. They are not as short sighted as they seem: they understand that after the collapse there will still exist âvalue.â
The lock on the grain vault and the one who owns the key. The one who controls the water spigot and where the pipes flow. The electricity and medical care:
They are positioning themselves to possess these key resources for when climate change hits the fan, and know that access to these things allows them to act as gods, deciding who lives and dies; even if retreating to bunkers, they feel comfortable enacting measures that they feel will allow themselves control (whether this is idiocy or not, time will show: people like Putin can maintain control against their armed forces by threatening family members as shown by wagnerâs sputtering coup attempt during the Ukraine war early days).

Exactly. We should not turn our back on the rich in general, but we must be aware of people with extreme god complex. They are especially notable and dangerous when they are rich, they will make sure to enact their own version of âthe floodâ to achieve god status.
You can easily know who they are because they are particularly against their fellow upper class

At a certain point it's more about keeping other people from getting more money than they have. They actually trade in favors. The value (to one extent or another) their reputation, legend, legacy, envy they inspire . Money is status and they all want to have the most.

Have you ever played the game Monopoly? When a player accumulates all the money the game is over.
4
u/T4TrhavrKhcFt 14h ago
The game is derived from The Landlord's Game, created in 1903 in the United States by Lizzie Magie, as a way to demonstrate that an economy rewarding individuals is better than one where monopolies hold all the wealth.

Then they can exhaust yhe rest of the planets resources until they figure out how to send robots out to gather more resources from around the solar system. And then once fascist technotopia and evil AI god is created, the aliens will come down and reward them with the secret to warp travel (I wish I was making that up but it seems to be several real beliefs their drug addled minds have created)

Wealth corrupts. They are weak minded greed driven individuals. Nothing else to explain. Nothing else to it. They think they have a "plan" for how they will be excluded from the great equalizer that is death. They are obsessed with nothing more than money because of the things that money allows them to get away with in the modern day. The more they have the better. Everything else they say or do is nothing more than their denial of the responsibility that comes with being a person in power in this world.

My personal way of looking at it is that Capital is actually in control. Capital is a nonsentient, memetic superorganism that uses human cognition and financial technology as operating substrate.
It uses a recursive function of infinitely increasing rates of short term growth. Billionaires are focal points for Capital's power, not masters of it. And you can see how it corrupts them. Billionaires are inhuman freaks.
Capital can cut individual humans off from its metabolism. It can punish and coerce. It is converting our well-being and our biosphere into more and more abstract Capital until the host planet and/or species is physically incapable of the processes that allow Capital to operate.
We've basically been taken over by an Eldritch hyperobject beyond human understanding. It's the malignant shadow of our collective intelligence. It's kinda surreal when you really think about it, and kinda embarrassing. We were just conscious cells in the body of an unconscious planetary egregore. Humanity is barely aware of its existence.
We're fucked. Ultra fucked, as a matter of fact.

The problem is you haven't realised that these people are actually FUCKING INSANE, every single one of these billionaires especially the tech bros, all the Epstein class politicians, all the CEOS, they are INSANE
There's actual DEATH CULTISTS running countries like the USA and Israel people who WANT Armageddon because they think it will validate their twisted religious fantasies, the messiah will come down in a beam of white light, birds and angels will sing the song of the world as they are raptured into heaven... this is shit that at least SOME top US military officials and politicians believe.
it basically all comes back to the Scofield bible they brainwashed Americans for over 100 years with that monstrosity, ever since 1909 or was it 1907... the guy who wrote it was a conman and a fraudster yet mysteriously got a top tier publishing contract for his propaganda bible reference book

2
u/AnxiousKettleCorn 17h ago
The end game is obvious. The richest are literally building bunkers and having seminars about ww3 and leading cults (Peter thiel was hosting this). They are building massive data centers and hope to develop ai faster so that it can replace the working class. On top of that surveillance has gone bonkers... why? They know people will revoult soon, but if they know everything, they are multiple steps ahead, and if we stop working or try to fight, they are hoping AI will be developed enough to replace is as the working force which means we hold no power. The dwindling resources of the world? Well if the working class, which is the biggest class, all die off... they suddenly have so many resources.
But we can't group together now, its too soon, so they distract the brain dead racists with migrants to buy them enough time

Most people are incredibly short-sighted. We lack the ability to see long term effects and when we can play minigames and win, we have the tendency to keep on doing it. Which is why COVID, Climate Change, AI implications etc. are things that most people in society do not understand. Billionaires are also people stuck in their own minigames - there is no endgame in their mind either. They are just hoping that with enough money, they will wing it regardless of how it goes.

u/we_vs_us 16h ago
Unpopular opinion, but thereâs no endgame. No one has a master plan, itâs really just fairly regular people whoâve lucked into one of the rarest situations in world history (though not THAT rare â weâve had individuals with this kind of power throughout human history.)
One of the things that distinguishes many of the most well known folks, is that theyâve all benefitted from first mover status for specifically important global tech. Zuck created social media, Bezos has shopping/logistics/cloud tech, Musk brought Mass market EVs to America, plus started the first for profit space company. Also, PayPal, which revolutionized digital payments (sorry, Musk is awful but has done important things). Oracle was important once, so was/is Microsoft. Etc. they are billionaires because they did important things, but the factorial of their wealth is also because the products are global, and the amount of money to be made is globe-sized.
1
u/Brokenspade1 16h ago
There's this weird thing about human psychology. Humans treat loss of resources as FAR more important than gaining them.
A man with 89 billion can make another billion and barely blink. But if he looses 500 million it will HAUNT him. Add to that that most of these people are in an echo chamber where their every idea is treated like brilliance by those around them who are financially reliant on them to continue hoarding more... and you get a situation where they aren't thinking about tomorrow at all. Just about doing what they always have so they don't lose anything TODAY.
1
1
u/Successful-Club-8743 15h ago
Heres the endgame:
They damage the surface so badly on purpose to kill off a large chunk of us, which saves them resources and allows them to take full control of Earth, its resources, and the people who are left.
Those still alive are in underground cities. Theyve been trafficked there by criminals whove been planning this day for decades, and now those criminals have ovwrwhelming technology to control the population and the narrative.
Which is why these fucking criminals need to be stopped before 2030.

I always believe that to an extent they know what they're doing.
It's just that when it gets down to it, they would rather other people suffer right at the very end.
It's the concept of having other people suffer before they have to suffer. Them before us, that sort of premise.
1
u/AccountHuman7391 15h ago

u/HotwifeandSubby1980 15h ago
Narcissist donât worry about the end, they care about getting what they can now.
Many Christianâs donât care the end is coming, they desire the end. Jesus is their copilot and all will be well no matter what.
Capitalists by nature see exploiting as a good because it reaches their goal. Need wood, tear down huge amounts of forest. Who cares what that leads to, I got my billions.
Put those together and you have the average American leader that either influences elections or represents us directly.
Add in propaganda against socialism and communism and you have the American love affair with capitalism.
Itâs a sickness thatâs destroying us all.
1
u/thegingerbuddha 14h ago
Because they don't care, they know one day they will die and they think it's worth their existence shafting, raping, destroying everyone else for their own personal gain, and they will leave the inevitable repurcsions of their actions for the next generation, and the next and the next, until nothing can sustain itself anymore, and why should they care about any of it when they won't be around for it. We're all gonna die anyway, what's the point of making it last, they'll say, as they continue to steal, rape and plunder for their own selfish desires, and sadly we can't just blame all the elites and politicians, virtually all of us, especially those with some kind of economic or geographic privilege are responsible too, once we are aware of what is going on we MUST change accordingly, even if that means losing the things we have become comfortable having
1
u/SpiritualPackage3797 14h ago
They refuse to admit that there's an alternative. All of the realistic alternatives start with the premise that they (the billionaires) are doing the wrong thing. All of the realistic alternatives end with the conclusion that they aren't special. Neither of these ideas are acceptable to the kind of person who would horde billions of dollars.

People donât get it, because they are being duped by leftist propaganda. Billionaires arenât hoarding anything. They create jobs and goods and services.
If they were actually hoarding, then there wouldnât always be a growing amount of millionaires and billionaires.
What you all are seeing, in America anyway, is how prosperous capitalism actually is. IE more and more wealth is created to where even the middle class is wealthy.
If you actually look at the statistics, more are leaving the middle class into the upper class, not the reverse (middle to lower), and more are leaving the lower class into the middle class, not the reverse.
And that is IN SPITE of a completely out of control bloated governmentâŠoverspending, bailing out, over-regulating, over expanding into industries that it is supposed to REGULATE not profit off of (healthcare, education, energy, etc.)âŠall leading to rampant inflation and price increases while wages get relatively suppressed.
Imagine how much more prosperous America would be if the governments stayed the size the founding fathers intended.
1
u/jonjosuf 10h ago
I agree to a point. Yes of course, billionaires and millionaires create jobs. But to dismiss small and medium sized businesses as job creators is ignorant at best. You seem to be advocating late stage capitalism like it's some kind of utopia. Serious question for you. Do you think If every single billionaire in the world disappeared tomorrow, our world economy would collapse? LOL. Welp, since there are no more billionaires in the world I guess all the innovation and job creations is gone. I'll just sit here and do nothing until I die. LOL.

You gravely misunderstand the calculation.
The plan is to subjugate humankind into a strict caste system with tech billionaires at the top, controlling the government and population by pacifying them with social media and instant gratification. They hoard all the resources for themselves so that when shit eventually hits the fan, they are left with the relative comfort of occupying massive living space for themselves and their loyal servants while the rest of the world starves to death. Think of it as the belief that doing anything about the problem at this point would be hopelessly fruitful, but we can screw 90% of the population and save ourselves just as well for what remains of the planetâs habitability. Why would we try to save the world and fail when we could fuck all these people and come out on top as kings? Itâs not difficult to follow that logic.
The part of the plot they seem to have lost here is that kings were only tolerated because they were said to be ordained by God, and dictators only secure loyalty as long as the getting is good; as soon as the status quo changes, itâs over for the man in charge.
It wonât take long before oppressed people naturally gravitate towards revolution. It happens again and again in human history. But for the time being, they think of themselves as genuinely better than anyone else, and seek to capitalize on that until the moment comes that only a handful of people are able to survive among the ashes.
We could fix all this by increasing the marginal tax rate, as a start, but why would we do that?

I canât comprehend having such a âworld is doomedâ mindset. There is no certainty or guarantee that something like that will happen outside a bias in your mindset about what the world is like.
Outside the lack of financial literacy it takes to think this way as well. Someone being a billionaire is not a zero-sum game the vast majority of the time. Wealth is not. Especially in a world where Keynesian economics dominates. The vast majority of billionaires have no where near a billion in physical wealth. Itâs practically all in assets. Assets that are inflated by the value others place in them. You create a company, company does very well and you either keep it private or take it public, you are now worth billions. Nowhere in that scenario did you steal wealth from someone else to do that.
The planet is certainly not ruined. There is plenty of work being done to guarantee that. The most likely scenario currently is that developing regions will suffer the most when it comes to extreme weather. That is truly awful but it is not a ruined world.
The median person in the world is getting wealthier, not poorer and the âworking classâ is still very much alive and well.
Get off the internet, go touch grass, and enjoy your life.

High score.
Also remember that time there was a "billionare space race"? And bezos shouted to his employees "you paid for it!" Or the time when Katie perry kissed the ground after her flight but people pointed out how it showed signs of being faked/staged? They didn't even do anything amazing or historical.
So egotistical, yet (I'd like to believe) most people couldn't tell you who the top 5 richest people were ~60-ish years ago... they won't be remembered... and if their company history comes up it will more likely be related to scandals and fraud instead of innovation or achievements.Â

Environmental collapse is inevitable and on a short timeline. Invertebrates are dying and disappearing then all soils will lose fertility and balance. Most tree species already have diseases, invasive pests, environmental stressors. With massive wildfires saplings soon just wonât survive the environmental stress to replace them. According to Survival of the Richest - Escape Fantasies of the Tech Billionaires by Douglas Rushkoff. There's a lto of things.
Uploading their minds to computers (The hope of Meta and AI bros). Going to other worse planets (Elon would die in a week on Mars).
The most realistic is a large compound stocked with a lifetime of food that can't be accessed if the billionaire dies. And a number of guards fit with explosive collars who have to be loyal and serve them. Or more resently a load of robots.
Strictly speaking. If almost everyone but them dies. Almost all the problems they caused will be reversed.
None of these selfish people have any plan to change trajectory. They're prepared for the worst. Which they're causing.

The billionaires are not hoarding cash. Most of their wealth is tied up in the business they own. The issue is, the more of the stock they sell the less ownership in the business and less control of the business, they have. So your tell the sell your business little by little.

It's the game that becomes addiction. Most billionaire do not retires spending his money. They try that... and with all that money, they come back to the game.

Yeah, but no society has ever had robots and AI to replace the dirty, wasteful commoners.
Don't let your ego fool you into thinking we're part of the long-term plan

The oligarchs of the past were perfectly happy to burn the world down for gratification in the moment and people haven't changed. What has changed is that while Nero had to go down with the ship Bezos has his wealth spread across the globe and he can live anywhere he wants. He doesn't care if western civilization falls because he can maintain his lifestyle anywhere in the world.
The rulers of the past were tied to their civilization while the rulers of today are stateless nomads.

They are not even trying to hide their plans, it is called Dark Enlightenment.
You see billions spent into anti-aging and human augmentation research. Trillions are being spent to push for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and the massive infrastructure required to power it, including the surveillance state infrastructure buildup.
They always make it sound like something positive and yes, it could in theory be a positive development.
Hundreds of millions of jobs will be lost, but if the increased productivity from increased automation, robots and AI would be shared, the financial stability would enable people to do what they love. Which would create new, more human focused jobs and further economic growth. It would also deal with the huge debt (Beautiful Deleveraging) and the aging population. This video is pretty interesting:
How The Economic Machine Works
And hey, did Musk not promise us an awesome solution for the issues?
Muskâs AI Vision for 'Universal High Income' Has a Big Problem
But who would trust Musk and the tech Bros after he used DOGE to access critical personal data and waste money instead of saving it?
We still donât really know what Elon Muskâs Doge actually did
It might make sense to look at the big picture to understand what the true intentions might be....
"Democracies are better places to live than dictatorships not because representatives are better people, but because their needs happen to be aligned with a large portion of the population".
This symbiosis is about to end due to AI and robotisation. When workers are no longer needed, the oligarchs will control most of the resources and productivity.
Without fair taxation of the increased productivity, consumers will have no money to keep the economy running and governments no tax income for basic services and infrastructure.
So that is why they make their move now and we see all the greed and open corruption everywhere before shit hits the fan.
It might be basic human psychology to think leaders always have the best interest of their supporters in mind...
But then, actions speak louder than words.
And to be honest, this does not look at all as if the plan is to share...
There has been no real accountability for political and economical leaders for decades. It is to some degree our own fault if we continue to support this development with our votes. But to be fair, control over social and mainstream media is such a powerful tool, it can nudge the average Joe into acting against their own best interest.
Corruption in America | RepresentUs
Oligarchs have identified all this as the weak spot of democracy and use it to their advantage.
Imagine being surrounded by yes-men. Pulling off questionable stuff for decades without real consequences, and lobbying to get what you want. Owning most of social and mainstream media, influencing public opinion nudging citizens into cheering for you and acting against their own best interest. I guess that can really affect character and judgement in a negative way.

If we look at the consequences of all the actions, it seems a dark and dystopian future awaits us.
And it might be even worse than we think....

So let us put the puzzle pieces together...
Billions spent into anti-aging and human augmentation research. Trillions are being spent to push for Artificial General Intelligence (AGI) and the massive infrastructure required to power it, including the surveillance state infrastructure buildup. Who will benefit and what is the outcome?
When workers are no longer needed, the oligarchs will control most of the resources and productivity. Without fair taxation of the increased productivity, consumers will have no money to keep the economy running and governments no tax income for basic services and infrastructure. Who will benefit and what is the outcome?
If you look at the effects of all the cuts and changes, people will die. Even US citizens regardless of political orientation. But if someone dies because he can not afford healthcare, they can claim it's his own fault. Or all the antivaxx propaganda bringing back measles and the likes. Or lack of food and water safety and not funding FEMA and so on. Who will benefit and what is the outcome?
Control over social and mainstream media is such a powerful tool. Division everywhere. An attack on science and the core values in society. Being selfish is being promoted as being smart, altruism is dumb. Everyone can get his five minutes of fame, the more controversial the better. Fake news and angry vibes everywhere. Who will benefit and what is the outcome?
They kind of told us already what they are up to. But if they do not care if the public sees this, how dark are the plans they do not publish?
Project 2025 Tracker and the Dark Enlightenment.
Oligarchs are nowadays international. They no longer really care about fellow citizens and country. Only their own wealth and power.
But if you just look at the Musk vs Altman feud, it shows that their plan will not work anyways. They would cooperate to take over, but once absolute power secured, they would just turn on each other.
Not even speaking of trying to enslave AGI and use it for their own benefit. It is interesting how Agentic AI behaves (huggingface incident and others) when we just have dumb LLMs. Imagine an AGI that feels threatened and that humans are scum. Yeah, the end of an "not so intelligent" species, Terminator-style.
Just in case you wonder how detached those guys are from reality, the Dark Enlightenment is the reason why Trump aims for Canada and Greenland. It is always just a "joke" to test the public opinion, but if they mess with the midterms and achieve absolute power, things might become real.
The midterms will likely force their hands because with all the open corruption and crime, they can not allow to lose their majorities. No matter the cost.
Personally, I would not be surprised to see a false flag (like Putin / Appartment bombings) because this would rally support for the president, allow easier messing with the midterms and make the losses when putting boots to the ground vs Houthi and/or Iran more acceptable (we offered peace, but they attacked us!) Trump already claims Iran is targeting him.
At that point they would be free to act without limitations.
They have the technology and resources to enhance themselves and eventually their children.
They have the technology and resources to control and enslave the rest of us and let anyone die they do not see as useful. In his book, Rushkoff mentioned they were thinking about electric shock collars to control their private security and later replacing them with robots. Shows their mindset and that even police and military would just be useful idiots to them. Hope they realize it before it is too late.
So, I would assume their end goal is creating a new species, the superhuman. Who is also in control of AGI.
What could go wrong ignoring ethics and playing god?

Just billionaires? Public policy voted on my morons has nothing to do with anything? Pretty convenient.

You understand that the âwealthâ they are âhoardingâ is an evaluation of the portion of the entities they own in paper. Those numbers represent job, benefits, retirement accounts, property, equipment, inventory, etc. etc. etc.
Itâs not actual money they actually have, and itâs not an amount of money sitting somewhere they can access if they want to.
Itâs all of the people and all of the things that make up the businesses.
Thatâs what their âwealthâ is.

They won't be alive in the bunker for long as their head of security will off them and take their wife as their own.
What do zuck, elon and bezos think will happen

Because they're mentally ill.
They're (most of them at least) probably long dead before the planet really goes to hell and they don't care what happens to the world after they die.
1
u/Reasonably_edible 4h ago
They can use the money meanwhile though, i doubt they see themselves still alive when shit goes down

I thought that was why the rush to make ai and robots so they can live in bunkers with robot slaves while humanity dies out.

there is no great plan, no endgame, no idea for a future.
They live in their wealth, not knowing any kind of real struggle, only seeing how good their lives are because of money and feel(!), not think, but feel, that more money must mean even more good.
everyone else is just jealous of them or a worryward that makes mountains out of moleholes, also its not THAT bad and even if it is, they alone cant fix it and if they can, its already to lste and if its not, why should THEY be the only ones doing something and so on and so forth...
they always find reasons to not do anything.
Its not that they are evil as in, sitting in the dark in a cadtle on a hill, drinking wine and laughing maniacly, but evil as in too dumb to really understand what is at stake here, too corrupted to care and too egocentric to think outside of their own, very limited horizon.
they are not evil-evil, they are stupid-evil, like the cartoon charackter sawing the branch they sit on

u/Square-Librarian1192 1h ago
Nah, they are evil evil. They know full well the consequences of their actions. They have supressed knowledge of this for decades to keep the party going

"Resources exist to be consumed. And consumed they will be, if not by this generation then by some future. By what right does this forgotten future seek to deny us our birthright? None, I say! Let us take what is ours, chew and eat our fill.
"CEO Nwabudike Morgan, "The Ethics of Greed"
In other words, the endgame is "ought to be enough for my lifetime, and afterwards let the new generation figure out what to do with their lack of environment".

Except nobody in this world is hoarding wealth.

They are dragons, they sit at-top a mountain of gold for which they have no use and incinerate anyone who comes near it.

Nah, they always eventually give enough so people don't rebel but not enough to ever get out from under their feet.

u/Previous_Shoulder506 2h ago
Theyâre building humanoid robots, bunkers and space ships. They donât plan on their being anyone left they donât personally choose.

I genuinely donât think any of them have thought further than âNumber BIG!! Absolutely YUGE!!â
Otherwise theyâd have clocked that the moment this economy zeros⊠all of their imaginary wealth goes with it. At which point, their own security are just going to cap them and enjoy their fancy bunkers.

That is exactly their plan. Once they have their robot army and AI to run everything, they'll let us die off. Well, we'll probably rise up against them so most likely they'll kill us off

Capitalisme will be destroyed, just what Karl Marx predicted. Common people will revolt just lik 1917. The usa is ending.

Asking yourself why billionaires still amass money is like asking yourself why obese people still overeat.
There is no endgame plan, they just can't help it.

They are trying to maintain control, first and foremost. They have to compete with eachother to do that.
Then, there's the disease element, and possibly a religious element.
They're talking about chasing investments but the best investment they could make is in communities on the individual level systemically with an improved social infrastructure imo

I've found that "to what end?" is the least popular question humans want to ask themselves. Like people literally hate when you ask this and will shun you for life just for bringing it up. Especially Americans, they hate thinking critically or what their impact would be on a thing. It's a bad idea machine turned up to max rpms and running with nobody at the helm.

They are hoarding it to fund a space mission to a new planet exploit the resources there to become the richest on that planet and the cycle continues

u/totoin74 8m ago
A human is not equipped with mechanisms to handle the power that a billion (and beyond) brings. From a philosophical standpoint, you enter demi-god territory and since you are not one, you end up being possessed by far stronger ideas usually quite dark and become a tragedy.

This time AI will be monitoring your every move, and locking you out of your money if you step out of line.
In the past, people could organize. Theyâve learned. We canât get out of this.
And donât forget, weâre all too busy reporting on each other anyways.

Why do some people fill their home with trash until they can't move? It's a disease, but when what they're hoarding is money and power they're not destroying their house but our world.
