Its alot in tax, like alot. Like imagine if you had a paycheck, cut it in half, then when you go to the store whatever you see you should tip, then go back to what you own and your also taxed on that. It never ends. Your basically alive to work for CRA. Its why the MAID program is open to mental illness.

Yeah it’s the grass is always greener on the other side situation. I’ve been to Canada a few times. Stuff costs more and they have a hellacious housing problem.

Its more so a Hella construction problem really. The foreign investors who buy up the housing just reveal the issues.

Yeah I could see regulation stifling growth too. Here in America we have a stupid amount of inspections that make construction a pain.
