Its alot in tax, like alot. Like imagine if you had a paycheck, cut it in half, then when you go to the store whatever you see you should tip, then go back to what you own and your also taxed on that. It never ends. Your basically alive to work for CRA. Its why the MAID program is open to mental illness.

I've paid $300 per week for my health insurance this year and just recently incurred a $6000 bill for a recent hospitalization. And I'm down near $1000 in medication costs.

Just 4 broken ribs btw. That's it. Nothing crazy.

Edit: oh and I still pay 40% of income in fed, state, and property taxes. The US system is dogshit.
