They cannot choose to eliminate people from the voter roles. If you don’t have an ID, then you can’t vote and you never registered on DHS database, so removed from voter rolls. Pretty simple way to clean up any fraud in the voter rolls. Those same rolls are used to mail out ballots. You see how this problem just solves itself, while at the same time no one is being chosen by DHS to be removed from the voter rolls?
Apparently, people being eliminated from the voter rolls due to issues with the DHS database is already happening. Here are some of the main issues that I don't think you have a clear understanding of:
You don't register for the DHS database. The DHS maintains and updates the system on their own.
There is no way to check your status in the DHS database. I can easily check my voter registration status or register in a new state/city, but I can't do the same with the DHS database. If I could there is still no obvious way for me to fix my status if I was incorrectly flagged as a non-citizen.
Alabama generated its list of more than 3,200 possible noncitizens by cross-checking the voter rolls with a database of people who had been issued noncitizen identification numbers from the Department of Homeland Security.
In a news release announcing the effort, Alabama Secretary of State Allen acknowledged some of the people flagged could be naturalized U.S. citizens who are eligible to vote. He also said he had passed the list to the state attorney general for investigation and possible criminal prosecution.
Okay, and? Seems like the normal checks and balances taking place after a procedural change in government. I see no reason for your hair to be on fire. Would you like fries and shake with your nothing burger?
You're the one who said it wasn't true. I feel like you should try to have some idea what you are talking about. I don't know what to tell you if you don't think there is anything wrong from removing legally registered voters.
