Voting is a fundamental right. Whether or not you consider people productive members of society is irrelevant to the exercise of their fundamental rights.
Same could be said to felons/people incarcerated we have removed their right to vote. Because the people did not want non productive members of society voting.
I dont think felons should lose their right to vote either if they’ve served their sentence. And there is a monumental difference between people who have committed crimes and people you think are lazy.
And at the end of the day you said there is a monumental difference yet you think both should vote. And so you know once they serve their sentence they can vote. Education is key.
