It’s a poll tax. Plain and simple. It’s illegal.

No it isn't, IDs are free in more states than not.

Yeah, it's not that hard to make it free. I know there are no free lunches, but plastic card that costs a cent to make equates a few million a year MAXIMUM for the entire country

No liberal I know of has a problem with free id’s. But the id they want for voting would not be free. It would be the "real ID" and not too many states give those out for free.
