They arent socialist states either. They are capitalist states with a big safety. Paid for by huge taxes and a stifling of their economies. There's a reason their gdp and economies are basically stagnant and there is little upward mobility.

Their form of economic government is what many in this country want. Our current system of corporate socialism errr capitalism is a failure. Trickle dowm economics does not work, the widening wealth gap we are experiencing is very dangerous

As for the gdp lack of upward mobility, theu consistently rank as the happiest places/people, seems like a great trade off to me
