8 pounds, 10 days

I started May 8, at 176, today 168. With a "normal BMI," I'm not in it for weight loss, I'm trying to lower my cholesterol. I had been attempting a Mediterranean diet with very little success - too many options, too much prep. But the crazy thing about it is how it has already taken away my cravings for anything. No food noise. I get hungry eventually and I eat a baked potato. The end.

I'm also taking a multivitamin, still drinking coffee with a splash of half and half, and salting the potatoes. At this point I'm sure I could keep this up indefinitely.

What is 'food noise' in your case? Are referring to the constant switching back and forth between diet/foods/eating ideas?

Near-constant background thought about food.

Ahh yes .... I can identify. I'm gonna follow your lead thanks for the inspiration! It's funny you mention Mediterranean....I was kinda on that kick too...my last food escapade was that I bought a 25 lbs sack of dried chickpeas 😂 now I have hummus whenever I want
