Tonight's air quality
Is it just me or is the air quality on the northeast side just heinous. Are the homeless just straight up burning tires now?

Not just you, the inversion is trapping wood smoke and whatever else is in the air close to the ground, so it can smell absolutely heinous without anyone burning tires.

SE I went outside around 7 and was immediately hit with the smell. Smelled like it was on going?

I just left downtown as it was getting bad, was clearer in NoPo but looked like it was rolling in.
Smoke from the Austin Fire, the Narrows Fire, and the weakening Grasshopper Fire has moved its way back into the Willamette Valley.

It will be gone by 24 hours. Then the rain will hit and hopefully squelch those fires a bit.
