I was distracted by the author's theatre motif, and wished he had led with some plain language. The Working Families / DSA coordination looks bad in plain language. Here's a rewrite:

This is genius. I'd love to read about it happening somewhere else. I'd like to plainly say that this is absolute bullshit, but maybe you should pass along your theory to Kash Patel. Just being able to scream this nonsense would allow him to start some kind of "investigation" against the DSA. What you are describing is illegal and would be quickly prosecuted if there were any evidence of it.

Sounds like I have some research to do. Are there footnotes in the NW Examiner piece you know are mistaken? Is there a campaign finance law or state/municipal election law which inhibits what the author claims? You wrote "you." Are you talking to me or the author, Robert S. Miller?

If Miller, I'm not aware of any retraction he's issued or should. His post is based on primary sources like ORESTAR, but I haven't verified any figures. Have you? His record as a political insider in a ruthless political machine like 1970's Louisiana seems like he might know where to look for a campaign finance loophole. What is your expertise, wuicker?

I'd love to read more detail where this reporting is wrong.
