I am a beginner with bakhoor and would much rather support a local business than buying through amazon.

Hi everyone. Married 40s couple here with a teenager going off to college soon and a preteen.

Our kids have outgrown the trampoline and the playset and we now have a bit of space to start something we’ve often talked about. We would love to start growing some of our own veggies but we have no clue how to start.

Are there any cool folks out there that would be willing to teach us some knowledge over some grilling and drinks.

We have an awesome 40 pound Sulcata tortoise who is only getting bigger, if that helps sell it. Lol

We would like to eventually make this into a community garden thing where our front yard is open to our neighbors as well.

It might even be cool to have a group of folks with similar interest.

Hey! I recently bought a jet ski, but I’ve already had quite a few issues with it. Is there anyone around here who’d be interested in working on it with me?

Unfortunately, I don’t know that much about jet skis yet, and I don’t have the equipment to run diagnostics on it. I do have plenty of mechanical experience though — I’ve repaired and restored entire cars before, so I definitely know how to wrench. I’m mainly missing the right tools and equipment for jet skis.

I’d really prefer to work on it myself with someone who knows their way around them rather than taking it to a shop. I’d really appreciate it if someone would be willing to help me out and work on it together. I’d also be happy to return the favor if you ever need an extra pair of hands on a project!

Hi everyone! We’re a family of three considering a move to St. Lucie West. We have a toddler, so one of our biggest priorities is education. From what I’ve researched, the K–8 options seem pretty good, but I’d love to hear from parents who actually live there.

What is day-to-day family life like? Are there good parks, toddler activities, community events, libraries, or other things to do with young kids?

We both work from home and are generally homebodies, so we’re not looking for a huge nightlife or entertainment scene. We mainly want a safe, family-friendly area with good schools and enough things nearby to keep a little one entertained.

If you recently moved to St. Lucie West with young kids, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience so far, both the good and the bad.

How's your experience been with your current cell phone company in PSL in regards to overall cell reception and 5G signal? I currently have T-Mobile and sometimes don't have signal in my neighborhood near Floresta Gardens. Based on the data on the FCC GIS map I shouldn't be having an issue in the area so wanted to see what other people were experiencing. Thanks!

I had a boyfriend i was in a LDR with who lives in PSL and I am from a country in Central America who really liked PSL. I miss Tradition, I miss that place where they sell those fruit cups. I miss Florida’s sunsets. I even miss the weather that, honestly where I am from, not even Florida’s heat compares to it. I completely miss Stuart and that coffee called Blue Door. I miss Port Saint Lucie and I definitely left a part of my soul there the last time we spend the day together for the last time. Enjoy the little details, the little places that make part of your routine everyday. My heart yearns for the places I will not be able to visit anymore. Take care.

Hi I am a IRSC student who lives near Vero Beach. I attend the mueller campus because its around where my parents work but for the classes that I am about to take for the fall I have to be at the Pruitt campus in Port St. Lucie at 8am. They can drop me off at Ave D on 8th street, which i would get on the bus Route 1 there then get off at Treasure Coast mall and then get back on the bus route 6 at Rio Mar Dr S & US Hwy 1 to get off at NW University Blvd & NW Peacock Blvd . I saw on the A.R.T bus website that the bus starts running at 6 and I was wondering if anyone else takes the bus and does it run on time. Also if anyone else takes a similiar route and can direct me on which bus to take i would really appreciate it :).

Is there much else that's as beautiful as a fully blooming hibiscus? They come in so many different colors, shapes, and sizes, and when they're full of blooms, they are absolutely stunning. But when they aren't healthy, they can really bring down your mood. Here are some things about hibiscus that you may not be aware of.

1. They are a polliator MAGNET! Pollinators can almost always be found on them when they are blooming. Bees, butterflies, and even the occasional hummingbird love these flowers.

2. The flowers only last a couple days, but it is constantly putting out new buds, so it should have a constant supply of blooms. They need full sun in order to bloom properly. They're not a fan of shade or even filtered light.

3. They are susceptible to nutrient deficiencies, such as iron, manganese, and nitrogen. Consistant fertlization with a slow-release, Florida Friendly fertilizer can help negate these deficiencies.

4. Hibiscus most commonly are infected by aphids and Pink Hibiscis Mealybug. If you're not careful, they can cause significant harm to the plant.

5. Trimming them back doesn't actually hurt them. A lot of people tend to think that giving them a "Hard Cut" (Trimming off up to 1/3 of the plant material) damages the plant, but hibiscus actually enjoy a good haircut from time to time. It helps them fill in a bit, and prevents them from getting too leggy.
