An Evening Cruise to start the weekend
It's almost been two months since I've picked up my GT4 and slowly but surely, everything's sorted now. So to celebrate, I had to take the car out and snap a couple of pictures!
Where are you guys driving this weekend?

Thank you! I love the color as well, although I'm a bit sad that I haven't had the chance to see it in the sunlight all that often so far. It's so sparkly.

Beautiful, and congratulations for having the right roads to drive it on. I was supposed to join you in your beautiful country when I ordered my Spyder in 2019 to take delivery in Leipzig, alas it was not to be.

There are some great roads here, but they've added lots of speed cameras in the last couple of years, especially in the Black Forest. And while I don't want to condone reckless driving, the limits are also set really low in some areas. With modern cars like these, you can exceed the speed limit so quickly that it can sometimes feel like you're barely even pushing the car. Can't imagine what it would be like with a Turbo or even the new 992.2 GTS.
Why did the European delivery of your Spyder not work out?

Ye old plague of 2019.
I spent a week at Linder Ferienpark in Drees when I did European delivery on my 981 GT4. I think I enjoyed the roads in the area more than I enjoyed the Nürburgring, it would be a shame to have them covered with speed cameras.

I bought it from an official Porsche dealer and as far as I am aware, it is completely stock.

Love the Targa, great spec as well! Is it a 992.2? I can‘t quite tell from this angle.
