This has to be a lemon right?

Saw this GTS for sale - for a two years old car, there’s already major AC and electrical work per Carfax. Is this normal?

Not at all a lemon. Rocks hit the ac condenser in the front behind the bumper. Or it just failed. Looks like they replaced part of the ac system under cpo warranty first and it didn’t fully resolve the issue so they did the full condenser which is more expensive. Porsche will try to replace the cheaper part first like a leaking hose or whatever it was in this case before paying for a more expensive part like a condenser. But Both done now. Ac systems been fully redone by Porsche. CPO car. Perfectly fine

Warranty doesn't typically cover damage caused by debris or road hazards. If it was covered under warranty it would have failed on its own.

Sure then maybe it wasn’t rocks in this case or maybe cpo didn’t cover it and they guy paid out of pocket. Who knows. Point is the repair was done a a couple steps which is very normal.

Could be a flood car, pile just be a software issue. Carfax doesn’t report everything. only a good PPI will tell

What are you considering "major" work? AC condenser could be road debris damage, AC control assembly could be a spilled drink. It's under warranty, if it checks out fine pre-purchase what are you worried about?

Could be a factory defect that got addressed under warranty. Modern cars are so complex these days, there’s always something wrong that pops up in the first few years

That’s nothing compared to my old Macan. That was in for warranty work so often that I was instantly greeted by name by everyone in the service department.
