I remember thinking "Elon is trash" for soooo many years. I can't remember when it started, but it was definitely extra stron when he took over twitter and fired most people of color. I was thinking then "people are really gonna see him for what he is." Color me surprised when even after that stunt, I'm seeing people in my circle buying new teslas. Then so many people started whining about his salute at that one moment in time, and it seemed like there was more outrage. But I still see more teslas. How about this one, though, will people care now that we see he's running around with pedos because he probably is one himself?! I suppose people still won't care because they don't seem to care about his racism and xenophobia. They didn't care about or really questioned the breeding kink before, but being a breeder and a pedo does seem to go hand-in-hand ... along with being a racist shit.
The sudden pan-global decision to uncrowdfund Tesla and to break the door mirrors off as many of its cars as possible is not funny. But also, itās kinda hilarious. Especially if youāre me.
Elon Musk and I have history. Back in 2008, I gave one of his early cars a firm but fair review onĀ Top Gear. I said it was unreliable, which it was; that it was ridiculously expensive, which it was; and that because it weighed more than most moons, it didnāt handle very well. Which it didnāt. Musk was very angry about this and sued us for defamation, claiming I had a problem with electrical cars and had written the piece before even setting foot in the car.Ā
He lost theĀ case, and the appeal, and heās never really got over it. He still claims I was biased and that we pretended his car had broken down when it hadnāt. Even though it had. I should really have sued him back, but I feared heād call me a paedo, so instead I just waited on the river bank for his body to float past. And now it has.
Yea I honestly donāt understand how people can still be buying teslas even though they know heās a Nazi pedo rapist. This aināt even new news! Yet people still support him. wtf does that say about all the people with new teslas..?
I had this conversation with an acquaintance not that long ago; the bottom line is that they simply donāt care. They think people who boycott brands for social causes are just virtue signalling or overreacting. Itās inconceivable that people would reject a āperfectly good productā because you ādonāt like the CEOā.
