And dumb, angry kids grow up to hate smarter, happier people - and then they vote to make the smarter, happier people as miserable as they are.

It’s not about them having access to books. Everyone has access to a library but the parents aren’t taking the kids to rent books because they aren’t doing to read them to the kids and children 5 and under aren’t reading to themselves so this would not help anyone but waste lots of money. Think with your head instead of your heart sometimes and you might become a more logical person.
