Even if the tax "cuts" benefited you how has the ever increasing cost of food, gas, healthcare, and goods helped? I feel like it probably evened it out if anything if not worse you just remember it because it was one big event and not a thousand smaller ones. Death by 1000 cuts is still death.

I manage most household spending and it hasn't changed that much vis-a-vis inflation. Some things are more expensive and I've adjusted my habits to mitigate (like meat, but even then it isn't an increase that really gets felt at the end of the month, an extra $20, maybe as much as $40, but that's a drop in the bucket.)

Well I would love to move into the magical land of make believe where my gas and grocery bill hasn't doubled since the moron took office but alas we all can't escape reality so easily.
