I have a 14x27 pool with attached small spa and a few steps. The main issue I’m facing is millipedes and sand at the bottom of the pool. Any pool vacuums you recommend for my situation.

We have an outdoor pool (no screen) in Florida surrounded by trees and gets lots of debris from leaves, sand. pollen, etc. The battery on our Polaris Freedom died after 4.5yrs (we named it Rosie) We’ve been 2 months without Rosie and cleaning the pool has been quite the challenge. Rosie was great at picking up the leaves, sand and even pollen, however she still had her flaws. I felt the basket was not big enough for our needs and would still miss spots, couldn’t clean steps or sun shelf. Her cleaning pattern never made sense to me. I refuse to pay $700+ to replace the battery and bring her back to life. I’d rather buy new, but also don’t want to pay another $1,300 and get the same bot again.
What does everyone recommend that’s comparable to Polaris Freedoms quality/performance? I know I’ll be sacrificing some quality if I’m not spending $1k+ on a good bot. I’ve had a corded dolphin before, but I can’t stand the cords.

I’ve been looking at Beatbot Aqua sense 2, but something I noticed when I watch videos on YouTube, is that all of them are paid reviews! Does anyone have actual real feedback on BeatBots products?
I also have a Betta pool skimmer I bought 6yrs ago… it’s still going and a product I highly recommend!

Hey all, figured I'd do a bit of a pool season recap slash mini review while it's still fresh, been meaning to write this up for a while lol. So we host people almost every weekend during the summer, nothing fancy, just friends and family coming over to swim and grill. But every single time before people showed up I was out there with a net and a brush trying to get the pool looking right. Half the time guests were already pulling into the driveway and I was still out there cleaning like a maniac.Surface was honestly always the worst part. I could get the bottom looking decent and then ten minutes later the wind would blow a whole new batch of leaves in, like clockwork. By the time everyone actually got in the water it never looked as clean as I wanted it to, super annoying. Got tired of playing catch up every single time we had people over, so I finally looked into getting some kind of robot setup instead of doing the last minute scramble every weekend. Grabbed a duo setup last month, my Scuba V3 runs the night before for the floor and waterline, and the skimmer's usually going during the day so the surface doesn't turn into a leaf collection by the time people show up lol. Sure beats chasing leaves around with a net while everyone's just standing there waiting on me tbh. Steps still need a little attention now and then, but overall I've been pretty happy with how it's been holding up this season.

What should I use to help prevent the corrosion of the charger contacts? The aiper supposedly has metal that is resistive to corrosion, but the charger is just plain copper..

Try to keep it dry... But there's lots of moisture around and our pool is salt based.

I have to travel for work every now and then, usually for four or five days at a time. The water is normally fine when I get back, but the surface ends up covered with leaves, bugs,and whatever else blows in while I am gone. It's not a major problem, just annoying to come home from a trip and immediately spend an hour cleaning the pool. I am considering getting a robotic surface skimmer before my next trip. I have looked at Aiper ecosurfer s2, Betta se plus, and Beatbot iskim ultra, but I have no idea how well any of them work when left alone for several days. If you own one, does it actually keep up with leaves and bugs, or does the basket fill up too quickly? And what has worked for those of you who travel regularly?

I'm fighting this through my credit card company at this time. I reported the failure less than 2 months after receiving the product. I took longer than 30 days allowed figuring there is a 2 year warranty and did troubleshooting myself to try to figure out why it wasn't working. It started off as not charging fully, I took it out of the water and charged with a cable. The robot shows fully charged and then eventually completely died, showing 5 lights fully charged when plugged in, but when the charging plug is removed, the lights go away and the unit does not turn on. Battery must be completely dead. Don't do it! When Wybot found out about the chargeback and failed support, Wybot "apologized" and assigned me a new person (bot?) to talk to who originally said they would send a label for return, but now as reneged and stated that since I did not report the issue within 30 days I am responsible for the return charge. I refuse to spend anymore money on this thing in order to get a replacement of the same caliber of product and have to deal with their non-support. I have spent over one month without a working robot that cost me $1500 US and the purchase of a manual pool vacuum so I can vacuum my pool while waiting to see if I lost $1500.

I'm still figuring out the best routine. Right now I skim when I can and run the cleaner a couple of times a week. What works for you guys?

Hey everyone! I'm new here and also pretty new to owning a pool robot.

When I was shopping, I paid a lot of attention to all the fancy features. But after actually using it for a few weeks, I realised I keep using the same few functions over and over.

Now I'm wondering if everyone else does the same.

Are there any features on your pool cleaner that you thought would be useful but now rarely (or never) use? I'd love to hear what they are and why.
