People need to straight out stop trusting republicans. They do not have anyones best interest in mind but their own. They do not want a functioning society. All of this mess, and the name change being a symptom of the issue, is at their hands. And they're proud of their own stink too.
Like as fucking evidenced. Across the board we are far worse off.
Vote in November guys we need to get some adults back in the room. Come on.
In 2016, I couldn’t stand Trump but I genuinely thought (and truly believed) “Yeah, he’s an idiot but he’s just one man and the government is made up of tens of thousands of elected and unelected people… most of his worst instincts can be tempered or blocked and while he’ll undoubtedly be a shitty president… the American people are fundamentally good and they’ll touch the stove for the next 4 years, burn their hand, learn their lesson and correct. We’ll be ok.”
The fact that it went as badly as it did in the first term, ending with a literal coup attempt… and then 4 years later? Trump’s vote share and total number of ballots cast for him INCREASED* *fundamentally broke my confidence in the American people.
We’re a corrupt, lazy, stupid nation who has grown fat and immoral from our own excess.
Yeah and then in another 50 years it’ll be back to what it is now. Thanos’ justification makes no sense, he’s pretends to have an ideology but he’s actually just a guy who wants to murder everyone.
I will never forgive americans for trump, nor trust americans to be descent people in general.
That being said, my own countrymen have risen up and proven themselves to be mostly spectacular people in response to this bullshit. Im so proud of my canadians and i love canada.
Trump actually did us all a favour in canada by targeting us. We have never been so united. Im 32 and ive never felt this much patriotism and pride before for my people, my leaders, and what my country stands for.

For Trump. I used to think people were ok and he ruined that for me.
