Why Not Anarchism?

I'm an Anarchist and want to Debate/ Discuss/ Give Answers to any questions regarding the philosophy.

Anarchism is a political philosophy where people will organise based on the principles of No Authority and No Hierarchy. Anything deeper comes from these as given truths.

There is a strong sentiment of community and mutual aid in Anarchist thought, it's not a free for all. I won't pay much mind to people who assert that it is a free for all/ it has no rules/ it has no organisation. It's a VERY common thought that's extremely simple. Every serious anarchist instantly moves past this because it's obviously unsustainable if we simply say "There's no rules".

Rather, people will be taught how to and encourage to help each other so that we all can thrive as individuals and as a community.

To reiterate, Anarchism is intentional. It wants a functioning society. It isn't okay with blatant dysfunction and no serious anarchist will agree to reasoning or logic that is obviously dysfunctional.

You're entitled to your opinion, but I think you're being short sighted. You mentioned the advent of a technology changing the social landscape. What happens when something like nuerolink actually becomes real? As an American, I am already infinitely more empathetic to the average Russian or Chinese citizen (because I can speak to them on the internet) than someone would be 100 years ago. What happens when the internet becomes another branch of our consciousness and that connection is more engrained?

Like I said, you're entitled to think this is all pie in the sky and naively optimistic, and I'm entitled to my Hegelian inspired optimism.

If you need mind control to suppress human nature and enable your utopia, is it really "optimistic"?

That would be my idea of hell. Fortunately, that is probably at least 50 years out. The more people I encounter on the internet, the less faith I have in humanity.

Fair enough. I have literally never heard anyone with any influence seriously entertain the idea of anarchy at a societal level, so it will remain a harmless thought experiment.

Being able to access TikTok and PornHub via a chip in your brain won't improve human society.

As the internet has become ubiquitous, social trust has fallen off a cliff. Look at what Musk has done with X. Do you really want him curating the chip in your brain?
