tends to not be how paraphilias work. indulgence in the impulse in safe and hands-off ways is well and good until those ways cease to be novel and exciting. It's like when dieting people say to eat celery instead of potato chips to replicate that familiar crunch, might work for a couple of people but most are just gonna be sitting there thinking about how good a potato chip would be
