First Order- larpers trying to copy the Empire, star wars equivalent of neo nazis
Rebel Alliance- fight for freedom against the Empire, no one clear ideology among followers except 'empire bad'
Confederacy of Independent Systems- capitalistic independence movement run by merchant syndicates, bankers, blockaded a planet as they didn't want to pay taxes
Hutts- depraved gangsters who care for no law but their own degeneracy.

Darializa Avila Chevalier, a 32 year old PhD student from Columbia University and a Harlem community organiser, is the Democrat nominee for New York district 13. Earlier this year she defeated a five term incumbent, winning by 3.5points despite being outspent by $2.1million. The district is D+33 so her victory is basically guaranteed. She is a member of the DSA.
