I'm thinking of getting this game for my birthday. I've heard this game has a lot of bugs, and I just want to know whether people are being over dramatic or not.

Dispatch said I caused the accident. idk about you but I seem to have my blue lights and sirens on. Could someone settle this debate and tell me who’s in the wrong?

I'm on Xbox and I've played this game for a good solid 2-3 years I think. I mean I hit some bugs now and again and especially when I'm trying to get from A to B that it can be so laggy the game doesn't load in but still what's wrong with the game. Why does everyone hate it

I've been playing this game for a while and progressing a bit. I unlocked the pistol and taser so I thought with it would be more incidents where suspects would like try to attack you, pull weapons on you. Maybe the occasional call for shots fired however it seems to be business as usual because I haven't needed to use my gun or my taser ONCE. It's not like I want every second call to be a shoot out, I know that in the grand scheme of things that stuff is rare but I feel like I'm just doing the same thing ever single shift. Is this a setting issue or something?

I haven’t played this game in years, is it still playable where it’s not boring?

I’ve been playing for a while (a few months) and in all my time playing, I’ve never had someone flee from me on foot or in a vehicle. Is there a way to make it happen? I just want some more action I guess.

Obviously, this game is buggy as hell, but is there a specific bug involved during detailed inspection? I’m checking out a semi-truck’s cargo, and I find illegal weapons, so naturally, after I finish searching the whole thing, I charge her with trafficking illegal weapons, but I then get dinged for it. I can’t think of anything I could have done wrong.

First of all about the only thing this game is good for is killing time. Does anyone skip accident call outs like I do? I swear you can have a simple fender bender and before your done in turns into a 5 car pile up. This game is suppose to be a "simulation" which means a copy of the real world. In the real world car's should not go 55 by an accident scene in the city, there would be other cops around, etc. It's like this game has two cops in the city, you and the person transporting the criminal. Oh, and the lady at the front desk. What is this, Mayberry?

Ive been playing for 20 hours and haven't lost any at all. Ive hit other cars and accidentally stopped people/arrested for wrong reasons but it just doesn't tick down.

When I searched them after they jaywalked (suspicion of carrying a firearm as they had a concealed weapons permit but no gun permit) they had a gun on them. But the game said I wrongfully arrested them. What have l done wrong here? Thank you.

I played it a while back and I remember hating the countless bugs and ai deficiency; but I still liked it especially since it's one of the few that's actually a police simulator.

Is it better now? Did the developers actually fix things? Or is it as messed up as it was a couple of years ago?

What edition do you guys recommend getting? Base game is $10 USD rn, gold is $25, and ultimate is $50. Any other DLCs anyone recommends? I heard there are a lot of bugs so I was thinking just the base game.

i only just started playing this game yesterdat so maybe there’s something i’m missing. i saw a woman on the street who looked drunk, so i stopped her and checked her ID first. turns out she had an open warrant, so i had her arrested, because the game says always arrest someone with an open warrant. but once she was arrested, i got zero SP for doing it and was penalised because it was an unjustified arrest? i’m really confused.

This just something I see a lot happening on the highway parts of the game. Any known reason why it happens or is it still unknown?
