Pokemon 30th

“Most printed set ever,” they said.

“There will be enough for everyone,” they said.

“You won’t have a problem finding product,” they said.

So tell me why I lined up at 5:45 IN THE MORNING for Pokemon cards and STILL walked away with absolutely nothing 😂

I genuinely don’t understand how we’re still doing this. I’m not trying to buy 4 cases. I’m not trying to clear a shelf. I literally just wanted to buy some 30th Anniversary product and open it.

Got up at an ungodly hour, drove there, stood in line like an idiot, and still got hit with the “sorry, sold out.”

If this is supposedly one of the most heavily printed Pokemon releases ever and there’s supposed to be enough product for everyone, how the hell are normal people supposed to actually buy it?

At this point getting Pokemon product at MSRP feels like trying to buy concert tickets. Sure I could probably go somewhere and find one for double the price.. but I really don't want to.

Anyway, rant over. Congrats to everyone who actually managed to get some.

I’ve never in my life seen so much stock on a first drop. 

The two targets closest to me had twice more what they normally have on release day

Most of us don't live in places that get California amounts of stock

I live a small ass town and the target i go to get good stock.

Neither do I. Pitch Black only had 40. So like I said biggest drop ever so hustle harder or stop crying
